Mackey made me feel brand new with my blonde balayage!! I loved the vibe of the salon, how sweet everyone was, and how they promote inclusiveness which is something I had never really seen promoted in an salon I have used! I will definitely be recommending him as well as orbit to all my friends who need a new hairstylist or salon to call home!

It is such a cool place and an awesome waiting area! Mackey is the best at cutting my hair I have been going to him for years! Highly recommended ????????

Fantastic experience! The hair dresser listened to me and gave some feedback, until we settled on a cut I was happy with. They made me feel very comfortable, gave me a haircut I am very excited about (having several bad haircuts in the past I had given up on achieving a look I wanted), and was reasonably priced.

10/10 I would recommend it and happily go back for all my haircuts.

This was my first visit to Orbit. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had come to the right place, Joe check me in, he was super friendly, helpful and very sincere. He even helped me pick out a print that I purchased for my wife. Mackey was my stylist. He is such an awesome guy, very friendly. I got a cut, shampoo and style.

I told him how I normally wear my hair, but feel free to do something a little different. He went with it, cut my hair a wee bit different to help with styling and I absolutely love it. I am so happy with my experience, it's nice to see customer service still means something. I have already booked my next appointment and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Mackey at Orbit Salon is the only person I’ll let cut my hair! He does the best fade in Bham! He is very precise and never feels rushed, plus he always makes sure he knows exactly what you want. Definitely recommend!

Peter has been styling my hair for over 5 years now. If you or anyone you know needs an Asian stylist, Peter is the person for you. Even when Peter was on leave, three different stylists covered me and all did an excellent job. Everyone at Orbit is so sweet. The salon is an affirming space for queer folks. I appreciate that their pricing is done by type of hair style rather than gender: “women’s cut/men’s cut” is “long hair cut/short hair cut”. I was paying other salons a ridiculous amount of money for a similar hair cut that a man was getting for $30 less.
