For my wedding day, I chose the BEST!!! Van is absolutely fantastic and couldn’t have done a better job on my nails, toes, and eyebrows. My mother was equally pleased and we both looked amazing. Mary, also did a sensational job on my lashes as well and I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you, to Van & Mary for making me feel like a princess on my special day!!
They charge an extra $5 for special nail shapes, which is completely understandable. However, they proceed to upcharge for the longer length, when that length is needed to achieve the special nail shapes in the first place!
My friend was charged an extra $15!!! for the length of her coffin nails (+$5 for the shape) and when I pointed out that hers weren’t much longer than mine, my nail tech told me that mine were actually $40, rather than the expected $35 ($30 base +$5 for the shape). I would consider the length I got to be the BARE MINIMUM to achieve the almond shape I asked for (however they turned out much more pointed than expected). If I had gone any shorter, my nails wouldn’t look right. The upcharge just felt like a way for them to get an extra few bucks and it doesn’t sit right with me. At the very least, it could have been discussed prior to finishing the set.
Love ocean nails. I get a get a gel mani & I am in & out in 45 minutes. I plan to go back every 2 weeks. Appointments can be made but not needed
worst nails ever…. i asked for a square an got skinny nails then i come home an my nails aren’t cured all the way so my red nails stained my white shirt. i asked for gel pedicure an got regular polish the shape was horrible an i paid for a stone massage but received cold stones. not to mention the seat was dirty when i sat down. very messy an disorganized place they are very nice but i will not be coming back
Me and my friends got in last minute, the service was more than AMAZING. What a beautiful shop and the employees are the absolute best. I 10/10 recommend. Just an overall good time. They are the best !
I came in as a walk-in like always for a fill. A “fill”. When I told “David” this, he did not ask for specifics nor have I ever been asked in the 4 months I’ve been a constant customer for any specifics when I say “fill”. Apparently you have to mention pink and white fill yet I get this every time..WHY would anyone NOT want the white filled, to be vibrant again? WHY would I ONLY want the pink filled? No common sense? And as you see there are bubbles, I got cut without any care to stop or not contaminate the acrylic brush..nothing. He thought it was funny that a “hair” got stuck in the pink acrylic and didn’t fix it, just put more acrylic over. The black dot I let slide because I was waiting for my transportation already to arrive…so I paid $30 for pink “fill” and a file down to see lines, bubbles and off white french…uneven acrylic….And when I mentioned to the lady who checked me out that sits at 2 that my nails are not okay and my fill complaints it wasn’t any apologies just asked if I wanted to fix it and that I only wanted pink fill when once again I never specified just white OR pink.. I should have just made an appointment with Lee beforehand because he had an appointment when I walked in and I should have stuck with who I know…
It was easy making same day appointment. My tech was being rush by other technicians to finish. Paint was blotchy
