Would be better if they'd remove the plastic screens at the tills and start to engage with customers again.
Staff could be more welcoming and conversive towards customers.
Portion of chips depends on who serves you, so, no consistency here and for what you pay for a large portion you get home to find hardly any chips for the family!!!!

The haddock is always fried to order, so fresh and very tasty!! It is the best place I have visited because of the quality of the haddock. That is why it is my 'go to' for a haddock and small chips treat!!
The fish is always 1st class and the chips are excellent and plentiful, there is a car park at the rear and the shop is super clean and modern. The staff are very helpful and friendly and it would be difficult to find a fault with the place in any way. I call here regularly because the whole experience is worthy of returning.
Very over priced. Not very nice chips. Tasted like they were reheated from the day before. Fish had soggy batter and fish too dry.
Overpriced and not the best, people rave on about this fish and chip shop, not sure why. I won't be going again.
I originally gave this place one star and for good reason at the time. I have since been back twice and tried again and was blown away by how much they had improved. Perfect portion sizes more than enough food for large cod and large chips, a bit pricey at £9.50 so a tenner plus with a sauce and drink. Can pay cash or card, minimum purchase for card. Well worth the outlay for a nice treat. Only downside is if they run out of large fish it's not worth the price to get a smaller one, especially if you're hungry.
