Delicious food, some of the tastiest I’ve ever had, in a nice setting with pleasant friendly staff.

Amazing, authentic Madeiran food. Superb service. The bolo do caco is up there with the best I have ever tasted.

Food is top notch and the service is top as well. Polite and happy to help. Had a nice atmosphere when busy. Nice range of food flaming sausage or chicken hanging on a server. There steaks are cooked to perfection.

Incredible! They were able to accommodate me and my little dog Murphy for dinner, and even made him a meal of chicken and rice.

The young Portuguese lad that served me could not have done enough.

And hats off to the kitchen as the food was incredible.

A really quirky place to eat in Westcliff. The food is good and the service too. I like the super quirkiness of this place and the little ornaments dotted around. It has a section at the back that is perfect for summer too. If you like a bit of "different" this is a good place to go.

I liked it! Good food, amazing house vine. It was unexpected that on Friday we were alone there. My favourite was mussels marinara. Recommended!

We went here for my wife’s birthday, four meals all delicious as it alway is when we’ve previously visited. Speaking to the manager, they are short staffed and being in the catering industry myself I know how difficult it is to find reliable people, it can be very frustrating! I don’t think the general public have any idea how difficult it is to find good people, it shouldn’t be that difficult, but it really is.Good luck, you deserve it as it’s a lovely restaurant.

Delicious food, friendly service, reasonable prices and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. A really lovely friendly restaurant. I had a lovely pork, bean and chorizo stew and spicy rice and my wife a piri butterfly chicken.

A nice pint of draft portuguese beer too.
