Great wee place very lively and friendly the bar staff were brilliant

It was pouring rain, we considered staying in. I’m so glad we didn’t. This is a must-go if in town! Great staff, pool table, and the patrons of the bar are WONDERFUL. Very welcoming. Top notch. We will be coming back to town just to make sure we can come to The New Railway Bar again. A great night.

An absolute hidden gem hidden away in Newtownards County Down.

From.the outside it looks so tiny and unassuming, but oh boy,how wrong can you be.!!!

The place is MASSIVE inside,so quant and homely,lovely sports memorabilia all over the walls,plus beautiful black and white photos from local beauty spots from times gone by.

The barman Rossie was a really lovely guy and made my first visit a really enjoyable one,along with my companion .

That's not the end of the story..because....THEY HAVE AN.AMAZING BEER GARDEN OUT THE BACK!!!!!

The atmosphere is really chilled out,beautiful seating arrangements and furniture throughout.

Highly recommended and cannot wait to go back again!!!

It's been a long time since I was last in the railway bar but I was pleasantly surprised. Very homely friendly place to enjoy a drink a game of pool and listen to music along with good company and ofcourse at this time of the year Xmas

Called in for one drink a couple of weeks ago and stayed all day. A lovely friendly pub and the locals are a bunch of rockets ????

Great wee friendly bar cheapest pub in Ards friendly owners and staff great outside beer garden and smoking area definitely worth a visit.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the beer was good, I'll be back
