Extremely rude lady (black hair, no too old Lady). I went for an stimate and came out very disappointed the way she was taking to me (rude, rude).
I had my hair done by Claudia, and unfortunately it was pretty TERRIBLE! I brought two different inspirations pictures and unfortunately got NOTHING close to them! I wanted heavy blonde highlights with a shadow root so it would be nice growing out a bit. Unfortunately I got chunky uneven highlights that were SUPPOSE to be all the way at the root but unfortunately she didn’t use correct technique so the highlights were about half an inch away from the room RIGHT away! There are also two sections where it looks like like the bleach came out the top of the foil and I have tiger stripe looking spots! Looks terrible honestly! I didn’t ask her to fix it because I was worried she would make it worst! So I had it redone at a different salon! I added photos of my hair and the gap from my scalp ATthe salon! And then the tighter stripe areas once I got home and realized they were there. I also added the exact inspiration picture I showed her…
Considering the times, Nellie's is a salon that has been helping the community with their consistent services. I got a haircut and they clean their chairs and equipment before and after every cut/service. They are a pro mask establishment which makes me feel safe, and they take appointments as well. I really appreciate this salon and my family will continue to go here as long as they are here. ✌
This is a great place for both men and women. For walk ins wait time is short. The stylist are very friendly. They converse well in English or Spanish. They do a very good job at cutting the way you ask. They also take appointments.
Great place to go for your hair cut and all of your other hairstyles and color. She was very nice and worked with so it was right. Awesome will be back and tell others about this place

I love Nellie's beauty salon. I have been going there for years and absolutely recommend them! Susie in particular has been my hair lady and I couldn't say enough nice things about her and her team! 9 years strong and counting!
Good and friendly place, clean, and very professional. I write because what others say, same people just complain for anything, I guess they been inside too long.
I went for a haircut today and after I waited for a little over an hour ( it was supposed to be my turn then Claudia decided to put this random guy in front of me , clearly I was next in line due to the fact that I called in and talked to Claudia and she said that was only a customer in front me anyways that’s unacceptable what she did and I noticed she allowed this customer enter the establishment without wearing a FACEMASK Or Face covering which is a Local, state and a federal regulation; that’s a big no NOT ACCEPTABLE. While I was there she never even request the customer to wear a facemask. Never going back to this place; that’s not the way to conduct business .
