I booked an appointment and they got me in very fast. I got a full set with french tips. The nails in general look great to the untrained eye. The lady who did my nails was in a hurry and did them super fast so a couple of my nails have bubbles but not a big deal because it's very common.
While trimming my nails before adding tips she accidentally cut my nail too short and split the skin...still not a big deal it was an accident. Then while filing the nails down before putting top coat on she got too close to a couple of my cuticles so now I have two sore fingers. (Trying to stay positive)
It's wasnt my worst experience but it definitely wasn't worth what I paid. I will not be returning.
Update: one photo is the damage from the lady buffing the nail too deep, one is of the bubbles on the nail, and the other shows the french tip not fully covering my nail.
showed the nail tech a simple inspiration picture and she did not do anything close to what I wanted and after asking her multiple times to fix it she got mad and rudely threw her tools down. After 5 attempts of asking I gave up and dealt with what I had. Will not be going back

Update: talked to the “manager” who said he would refund me 30$ because that’s how much I paid for having these fixed at IVY Nails, and after originally paying 55$ for these awful nails done I was ok with it. he then texted me and said he would not give me a refund because I used my human right “freedom of speech” to write a review. I advise everyone to stay away from this place, the dishonesty is unbelievable.
Will be taking this matter to Tooele City.
Yen did an amazing job on my nails. I simply came in for a fill, but she spent her time on me and paid attention to the small detail. I'm always pleased when I come here. If I ever had an issue with something that didn't look right, they will not let me leave without fixing it. They are all very easy to work with and easy to communicate with. They will ask a hand full of times of you are happy with your nails before you leave. If you are leaving here and posting a bad review, it's because you didn't speak up while you were there. They are all awesome!
Sadly, after reading how the owner responds to people, I will not be going to this salon. Even if people are complaining and upsetting, professionalism is expected when running a business. Good customer service doesn't mean we always agree with the complaints were are getting, but the way they are handled speaks volumes.
New to Tooele, and this place was recommended. Unfortunately, i walked in and wanted to walk right back out by the receptionist’s face expression but i didn’t. Place needs a new receptionist. Inquiring of availability and she just had the worst attitude in her face, no kind of greeting, smile or customer service in her face or tone. Ended up not having availability so i left anyways, but I’m never going back there again.
The worst nail place I’ve ever visited!!! Literally a 10 minute pedicure timed! she file my fingers more then my actual nail plate. I do not recommend this place, such an unfriendly environment and just Terrible overall.
They were so fast and so clean! I loved the service so much! The only reason I didn’t give five stars because I still had so much dead skin left on my feet after the pedicure. They women were so nice! I got nicked on my toe (which can happen & it’s completely fine) the lady was so nice and gentle after I could tell she felt so bad ! They were caring and so sweet ! If I’m ever in tooele I will definitely be going back ! I love my toes and my finger nails!
Nice to have a place where you can sit and have a pedicure without a reservation. Super friendly staff.
