If I could give this nail salon zero stars, I would. There are so many nearby salons, please save yourself the money and the frustration and do not go here! They are the rudest people I've ever dealt with. The man in the front with the glasses is very rough. Giving a manicure and pushes your hands and fingers to the side as if you are in his way.
The other man who did my pedicure hurt my feet and cut my cuticles. I got a gel manicure and pedicure and when I left I was told it was $90 as the man with the glasses looked into my bag and asked for cash. I told him I was paying card and to please tell me why I was charged $90 and he basically left in my face telling me that that's just what it costs. I've been to other salons. I only came here in a hurry and I wish I did it because they are not a good salon. I can't even believe what I paid. I was so upset. I wanted to cry.
Also, they do not follow the law. None of their foot basins for pedicures had plastic wraps around them and none of their utensils were sanitized. They're simply dipped the used utensil into the water that my feet were already in and put it back in the drawer to use on the next person. They also had towels that they had used on other people's feet. Just laying around where people were going to put their feet.
Also want to add that I had an appointment and I was on time but when I walked in he rudely told me you have to wait 30 minutes. What is the point of an appointment? They took my time and my money and they were rude about it.
I really never been so upset about a nail appointment so I had to come and write and a review. I really do not want people to go through what I went through. Does nail salon is poorly run, needs to be investigated by the board of health, needs to hire new people who are not rude and disrespectful to their paying customers, and lower their prices.
STAY AWAY!
Paid too much for a pedicure that in other nail places can be done better and at more affordable prices. They tell you how much will cost when you are already set and they started to work on. The whole service did not wow me. There are more qualified places here in town to do your manicure and pedicure. I will not recommend this place to my family or friends!
I live and work locally in St Augustine. This salon is the cleanest in the area and they do their best to accommodate walk ins, but appointments are best. The manicure and pedicures were very nice
If you need a large group, you will need to book well in advance.
Excellent service was very pleased with my pedicure. They did not try to up-sale and it was very relaxing. Very clean, nice atmosphere, beautifully decorated!
Tony did an amazing job! I love my nails. He was extremely detail oriented and took the time to shape them perfectly!
The male nail tech whome seemed to be an owner or manager just simply did not know how to do a decent fill in. When I tried to tell him what I wanted he got extremely aggressive and loud causing a scene and had several of the other patrons and two employees staring and startled. He was so inappropriately speaking to me that I was holding back tears. I would never do business with this salon. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH ANY PERSON/BUSINESS IN MY LIFE. I am a 55 year old woman who has had my nails done since I was in my mid 20s. The business should actually be reported to the better business bureau.
If you want a professional, clean, highly skilled staff in a peaceful positive atmosphere, I highly recommend you treat yourself to a manicure & pedicure at this wonderful shop. Once you come, you will no doubt always return.
For 25 years Nail Time has been a solid member of the St Augustine community. Considered family to many locals. I have been coming here for over 5 yrs and I am so grateful that a nail shop with such high standards exist in our town!
