We went there last Friday to get my mani and pedí, my daughter (6 years old girl) and me. After the ladies were taking care of me, I realized they were in a hurry because they needed to leave to meet some friends, so they did the worst mani and pedí that can be done. The quality and the service are very bad, and I am totally disappointed with this place. I asked to remove gel from feet and hands without scraching my nail. Their answer was that in that way is gonna take too long (look the pic of my foot toe). I told the cashier that the service and quality are not good. He did not care. He charged me the whole amount, and he smiled (pretending that he doesn't understand english)
So, I ended up paying a total of $80: $35 for gel mani (for me), $30 for removing my feet nails gel -see pic - no polish and no gel, (they don't even cut my nails right, see that they are still super long) and $15 for my daughter's regular mani.
I wish I could have my money back. All is awful!
By the way, they charged a fee if you pay with a debit card (no one told me that when I walked in) ... so, the total was: $82.40. I wasted my money, my time, and my energy in that place.
They took me in right away with no appointment or anything. The GEL POLISH started to come off. Within an hour of leaving. I tried coming back 4 times and they kept telling me they too busy to fix what I had paid for! I like the convenience of it being close to my house, but I rather drive 1 hour away to get the quality and better customer service! This is same day and me watching for them not to come completely off. This is embarrassing to have to walk around like this after paying more for gel.
I have been coming here for years and the service is just getting worse and worse. After today I will not be back. I asked for my daughter to have a full pedicure, they only painted her toes and were still going to charge me the full thing, I had to ask again for her to have the full service done. She’s easy going and isn’t a complicated child. I was having my nails done also, while my son helped with my baby, and I had to ask multiple times for coffin shape. After getting nowhere, I decided to stop asking since I figured I would do it myself when I got home. It started pouring down rain and they rushed me out, so I didn’t do a full check on the nails, they are all uneven. It is not my job to check to see if they are correct. I asked for what I wanted and they couldn’t even handle that. I will not be back.
I recommend this Salon, everyone is kind and friendly. This is my nail salon, I make an appointment with Lee. She knows what and how I like my feet and nails done. I am always happy with her service. She is very conscientious, the pride and detail to her work is exemplary!
Thank you Nail Expert! Update... It’s 2020 and yes this is Still my Salon, I am still Lee are the people here are friendly and good at what they do. 12/2022 Lee is gone I don’t have a nail salon yet still looking.
I get French nails all the time and this is my worst experience on getting them, they put too much white and not enough shape. They are overly priced especially for a fill it was just ridiculous 1/10 do not waste your time on going there.
I have gone here since i was 17. and this time was AWFUL. i treated myself for mother’s day the day before Sunday Mother’s day. Granted i went in about two hours before they closed so that was my fault. Still, I feel as if they just wanted to close early because they said they closed at 7:30 every day and yet they were closing at 7, which affected me because when the woman with glasses (she was who i had majority) came to me, she immediately rushed into it. First they said $95 then by the end they added it to $120 for for basic pink paint w gel. I asked for gel w extensions and they gave me a full set on my toes and nails, which is acrylic which is not gel w extensions. they are totally different bc i’ve had them done before. So then the Lady rushed my nails and toes. my toes were god awful, way too long they looked like claws and i knew she wouldn’t shorten them bc they just wanted to leave so i didn’t bother asking which is was my fault. One of my feets nails were longer then the other set on my other foot. My nails paint job looks so horrible, looks like a 5 year old painted my nails. THEN the very next day one of my nails ALREADY started coming off, i had to get mail super glue from the store to fix it. THEN this morning just getting dressed for work and putting a sock on, my toenail BROKE OFF. like it was a thin twig. Not to mention this lady BUTCHERED my nails by making some of them bleed bc she was rushing to leave so badly. Nobody has $120 to lose right now. Absolute Bull. Did not deserve the tip we left at all. Not to mention another lady there who does designs, my mother asked for a pretty complicated design and this woman just slapped glitter on it and called it a day. If you don’t know how to do a design then just say you’re not skilled for it so she can go elsewhere. they just wanted to take our money. Horrible place. will not come back personally and will be telling everyone we know, not try this place at all.
Great salon except for it is always extremely busy! We are a little concerned regarding prices..... Very inconsistent, depending on nail tech and day of service.
Filthy habits, and revolting reuse of ultra cheap items. Had pedicure after forcing myself to go after no mani pedi since the start of pandemic.
The staff used nail file intended for one use. It was quite worn. The manicurist scrubbed my toes w a cheap acrylic brush. Then! She rinsed the brush for a moment with the running water from my foot bath, tapped it on the side, and tossed it back in the drawer. OMFG. I held my breath till the end of the pedicure. I got home and scrubbed my feet with chlorhexadine!
I pray I don’t get an infection. Guess soap or disinfectants are too much for this place. This shows a total disregard for the safety of clients.
Also, the manicurist in the front of the salon was yelling loudly in Thai on her cell phone while doing her clients nails. So stinking rude.
So many dangerous organisms from methicillin resistant staphylococcus to hepatitis can be spread with no sanitizing between clients.
Holy God, Please Avoid! Contacting Hilsboro County Health Department, they need to be closed!
