I’ve never in my life wrote a bad review because I understand what that may do … today was the last day I would ever go back ! Extremely disappointed in the service they wouldn’t let a older women with color use the bathroom but let another women of different color use it right in her face ! I normally don’t feel respected when I go but I do like the work.. but for the owner to not only not give me what I asked she keeps leaving to go to outside and is constantly hurting my hand to rush … just to let another employee finish, extremely inappropriate. On top of that u have to hear the poor lady complain about that bathroom situation no one did anything .. it’s sad she also said that’s her last time coming there and apologized since she likes how they do nails but no one apologized to her smhhhhh
So this place is a gamble. 5 out of 6 times I will go in and get a pretty decent gel manicure (hello 20 bucks). However every once in awhile, I will go and they will be lifting after a couple days. You always have to watch the shape they are making your nail, they really like the square your nail even if you have a rounded shape and they NEVER ask. It seems to be the same gamble when I pay 40 for my nails elsewhere. To save 20 bucks...I'll risk it. How frequently their massage chairs are broken will never cease to sadden me though. Nice people. I'd give it a test if I were you.
Edit: They have started to thin out their gel polish too much. Took an extra coat to get the proper coverage this last time and they started to lift after a few days. Shame. The polish isn't that pricey that they can't afford to replace it every once in awhile.
Just moved to the area and based on the recent reviews, this place wasn't my first choice. Wanted to try Exotic Nails down the street but I was in a rush and had already waited at the other location for 20+ min just to open so when I seen the workers walking into this nail shop I followed in. I asked if they could do a simple ombré nail and showed them a pic which they said no, that didn't turn me off, but I was a bit shocked since I imagined it was pretty simple. I may be mistaken. Just went ahead with a regular acrylic fill in and gel coat... for whatever reason acrylic fill in is $14 but gel polish is an extra $20???? Yea alright. That was my first issue. The lady who did my nails barely spoke to me at all as I tried to make friendly conversation, and seemed to be getting an attitude with her coworkers from what I could decipher from her body language and tone. I asked for the color in OPI because out of all the years I've gotten my nails done, OPI has failed me on rare occasion but she said to use KSM which is one I've never heard of, however I took her advice against my judgement. 2 days later, waste of money on gel, chipped worse than regular polish, and all with a lack luster environment. I'll be looking elsewhere for my nails from now on... I gave it a chance but it didn't work for me.
Very clean, fast paced but nice quality work. Very attentive! The prices are reasonable and affordable. I love the way my nails turned out. I also noticed the certifications on their wall for display. They are official ????????
Let me just start off with this. I have been to multiple nail salons and have given great reviews, never had a bad experience, so I can honestly say I have never been more displeased with a place such as this. First of all, when I walked in to the nail salon, I felt very unwelcomed. The didn't ask me what I came in for. I had to ask. Secondly, the place was extremely hot. There was an elderly lady next to me who was complaining about the heat and they totally ignored her.
When I got to the nail booth, the nail stylist was rushing. She kept looking at other customers and was not paying attention to what she was doing to my nails! I asked if she was rushing and she gave me attitude. I ignored it. Then as she continued, she started to cut my nails the wrong way. I asked for pointy nails and she attempted to do coffin. When I asked her to stop, she grabbed my hand and continued doing a bad job. She then said she has to charge me to take the acrylics off...
I recommend anyone to not go here. Exotic Nails is the block over and they do a mighty fine job. Go there instead. Please!!!
It was my first time here I really enjoyed it I got a gel spa pedicure it was very relaxing, she did a 10 minute massage on my feet and it was amazing not rushed at all. I got Ashley as the person who did my service she is so sweet and nice I definitely recommend her !
Worst spa I’ve ever been to. One of the workers plucked a bit of skin from around the nails and it wouldn’t stopped bleeding for hours and created blood clots. I’m getting this checked out at the doctors and in fear I’ll get an infection. A lawsuit may be taken in place. Don’t recommend this place.
this has to be the worst nail salon i’ve ever been to. everything was so sloppy and unprofessional. they gave me something completely different from what i asked for and they charged me $70 for the ugly nails they gave me . even when i told them what i wanted she continued to do whatever she pleased. Do not waste your time and money going here . Definitely not worth it .
