Unfortunately my wife made a mistake ordering from here rather than our normal place.

When it turned up the chips were cold and on tasting they tasted like they had been fried in very old oil with a rather "Off" taste

the kebab meat was cold.

The whole thing was excessively for want of a better word "Wet"

A argument then ensued as to why the heck did you order from there ! it was bad enough 10 years ago ! Hence to say nothing has improved :-( maybe in another 10 if we survive .

We have had a take away from here tonight we were sent chips so burnt that they were completely inedible then to make it better they threw the cheese on top still and then I assume play piggy in the middle with the box for a while because the state of them was something else …. So we call as you would however took 9 times to get through to be told no they are not burnt just very well done as he cooks them fresh and well done for every customer and this is just the way they like it no sorry no can we get you fresh ones just having a go at us because “ I cook them now and they are fresh” so unfortunately I will not recommend this place nor will I be returning to them any futher !!

Absolutely disgusting Service. I rang up to complain and the manager told me not to order from here again! my food was gone off dry and it wasn’t even the order that I asked for. This takeaway needs shutting down ASAP it is disgusting and they have disgusting staff that have attitudes. Horrible food and horrible place. And they refuse to refund even when I said the food was gone off! This order cost me £20 aswell and all I got was a dry tasteless kebab and small brown smelly gone off tub of salad. IF I COULD LEAVE THIS WITH NO STARS I WOULD!!!!!!

Absolutely without doubt the worst kebab I have ever seen in my entire life.cold rubbery meat, tasteless, chips so hard you can barely chew them, and this whole ordeal cost £9 absolutely robbed. Shut this place down it is Vile

Thought we’d try a different kebab shop from our usual one in Wellington last night but never again.

Customer service zero, made us feel unwanted because of just eat orders.

Absolutely no covid precautions in place, all serving staff and drivers had no masks and no screens in place.

One of them opened an empty box for my chips and bashed it around the head of another then filled with my chips so they were left.

Kebabs were warm, just and tasted weird, ended up throwing away.

Disgusting I’ll stick with Ali around the corner

Normally I would say that Mr Scrumptious delivers excellent food however to tonight was not one of these occasions . Whilst the scampi were fine the accompanying chips were awful tasteless over cooked. The portion of chicken ordered tasted disgusting. On top of this a bottle of drink ordered did not turn up!

Not great, dry overcooked chicken, burnt pitta,

burnt dry chips , salad ok.

Not used them for some time, nothing has changed, wont bother for a while longer..chicken shish devoid of onions and peppers, not a proper chicken shish without it.

Server said it only comes with special kebab..

Rubbish.. will look elsewhere

Mr Scrumptious is a great local service. I have always had excellent food and today when there was a mix up with the order Mr Scrumptious himself drove out quickly to sort the problem! Mr Scrumptious has kept me and my family sane through lockdown! No hesitation in recommending him to anyone, oh and his Wellington Special pizza is lovely! Thank you Mr Scrumptious!
