Just go see for yourself, my results were amazing. As I got starter locs, I called Sunday morning and went right in. I love my hair I will try to post a pic in my yellow sweater. The stylist are very sweet and friendly as well. I'm glad I overlooked the bad reviews. Saved myself an hour drive back home to Raleigh. They were 5 min from my house.

Me and my daughter got our hair braided at this location. My daughter got Goddess braids and I got Box braids. I had the hair style for 7 days 1 week my new growth started coming in both of ours did our hair started falling out by the root with the braid attached around the edges so I started taking the braids out around the edges and notice it was only a little bit of hair in that big braid so the braid weight down the hair which in turn took out the hair .... my hair my real hair so in order to not be bald on my edges I proceeded to take out all the hair around the edges and then I called Monic. I talked to the owner she said why you wait so long i said it just now started falling out by the root. She said she can't fix it I should have called her sooner. I said they should not have put that little bit of hair in the braid. She would not fix the miss take they made and was very nasty about it and unprofessional. I had to go to someone else and pay $40.00 but only paid $35.00 because they felt bad for me. They said this is unhealthy for my hair the way they braided they should have pull more hair in the braid. I will never go to Monic Hair Braiding again and I advise you not to go there either they will not help you if they do something wrong they just want your money I paid $360 for the two hair styles.

This salon on Randleman Rd comes HIGHLY recommended! All of the stylist are soooooo very sweet and accommodating! The environment is so peaceful. I fell asleep countless times with them doing my hair, which I NEVER do because I'm tender headed. They are very respectful and they treat you like a friend and family every single time you walk through the door! They receive 2 thumbs up for me! The quality of work is immaculate! Well worth the price and THAN some!

Although personable, my hair was not done as I asked. The braids are much larger than I chose. the hair is not good quality. It took almost 11 hours to do box braids. Some of the braids were completely braided to the end, others have 3 inches or more of hair that was undone. Monique is nice but she spent too much time talking to others in the shop and on the phone. For $180.00 I expected my hair to look better.

I had the worst experience at this hair salon today! I showed the young lady a picture of the hair style I wanted and told her exactly how I wanted my hair. Sad to say the finished product didn't look anything like what I wanted which was natural looking cornrows! I absolutely hate my hair! And on top of not getting what I paid for, she was in a hurry and rushed braiding my hair and had a terrible attitude. She showed no professionalism at all while she was smacking on potato chips while doing my hair. I will never return to this establishment and I suggest no one to come here! Customers are truly not appreciated here.

P.S. I took my hair out the same day!! Waste of my time and money today!!

She was great! I ended up coming in much later than I expected and she took her time and made my hair look beautiful. We were there past 12 am and she made sure I was happy with it. She also did my hair fairly quick compared to most people that have done it in the past. I definately recommend going to her. I got box braids but she does it all!

Alice braided my hair. She waa kind and fast. My box braids were beautiful. They were ALL so kind. They played beautiful African worship music. Monique checked on me to make sure I was okay, and they got me out in time. Thank you ladies. ALL OF YOU!

They are so nice and welcoming! They work with you and make you feel comfortable by any means, but my style didn’t last at all even with proper care. I got Senegalese and they slid out so easy after 5 days of wearing the style. I lost so many of them within the second week.
