I have been to this place 21 times already and I always have my haircut with Eric. He always does a great job. He is very attentive to the details and also to your wishes. On top of that he is a very nice/ chill guy.
The place is nice, comfortable and the staff are very accommodating. It’s definitely worth it to book with them.
I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant at first to go to a random barber for my wedding haircut. But I am so glad I took the chance on Chris. From the moment I walked into the shop, I knew I was in good hands. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and Chris immediately put me at ease.
Getting my haircut with Chris was one of the best decisions I have ever made. He listened carefully to my vision for my wedding look and offered helpful suggestions to ensure that I looked my best. The actual haircut was like no other I have ever had. Chris is a true artist and took the time to carefully shape and style my hair to perfection.
I received countless compliments on my haircut throughout the day and it lasted for weeks afterwards. I am so grateful to have found such a talented barber in a random place and I highly recommend Chris to anyone in need of a haircut. Love coming here for my haircuts. Erick is one of the most laid back and nice people you will meet, and is fantastic with his work. I've been going here for a few months and I'm glad to have found a place with some great people and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend Monarch, and Erick in particular.
Was in town and decided to check out this little barbershop; was not disappointed at all. Cody gave me the exactly what I asked for, yet with so much attention to detail. Most folks have trouble with the line I request on my left side , but he had no problem doing that, and even gave it a clean cut look. Sure , you’re paying a little extra but you will be attended to & well taken care of. Hope to be in town again sometime soon.
Oscar hooked me up with one of the best burst tapers I’ve ever had. Super chill environment and music was on point! Next time I’m in San Diego I’ll be back.
Charmie is great. She takes her time to make sure her work is just right. She’s also very personable.
Chris is a great barber and super personable guy. This was my first cut in a decade since I’ve been cutting my hair and I did a lot of research before picking a place. He really listened to what I wanted and checked in here and there to make sure we were on the same page, sharing advice on short term vs. long term advantages for different decisions. I’m growing my hair out for the first time and he was super cool about explaining why doing one thing over another would make me happier in the long run.
