I called in for a last minute pedicure. They were able to accommodate me & a friend. Great service. Very clean. They took our temp. We scanned a Q code for touch less registration. Only 2 additional customers. Everyone had their masks on. I had to fix a broken nail as well. Looks good. Thanks Tina.
It was a great experience. Kevin did a wonderful job on my nails although this did peel after a few weeks. I’m gonna give them another try, he did a great job and was so meticulous on my design I wanted.
I had an excellent experience here. Went to a nail salon in Warren which was highly recommended and my manicure was pretty messy. Kevin is very meticulous. He's the only one I've gone to and my nails look awesome. I get the gel manicure, won't go back to regular ones, they don't last.
Always very Nice & Pleasant. The Owner is always so sweet & helpful. Everyone on the staff does good work & are very friendly & personable. The nail salon is always very clean & relaxing. The massage chairs are the best !! They take appointments & are alway on time when you have one. I love this place.
Although they did my nails great, they made me bleed. I figured the first time was an accident and it was ok but the second time I went the guy was so rough with the nail file he gashed me and I was bleeding again. Won't be returning, experience was too painful:(
I'm really shocked at some of the reviews left here. As another reviewer stated, nobody is perfect and we are all human. This meaning that there are good days and bad. I've been going here since I was a teenager! Many of my friends go here as well. I have never had a rude interaction with Tina. In fact, I've locked my keys in my car twice! and her husband always offered to help me in any way he could. Tina takes pride in the job that she does and recognizes when something isn't done correctly as well as her employees and her salon. She does her best to accommodate & balance. Whenever I come in, I always see happy customers. Sometimes people stop in just to say hello! They aren't lazy, they just know better than to overwhelm themselves.
She has holiday parties sometimes for her customers and if given the chance, she's very relatable. Empathy is key when working with the public so personally. I can guarantee if you don't like something and just talk nicely to her about it, she will nicely accommodate!
As far as the wait time, because Tina gets booked fairly quickly, she tries her best to provide REALISTIC expectations so people aren't waiting so long. Sometimes it happens, but it is best to make an appointment. I do both! I feel this place is relaxing and there is a tech for all types of nail personalities. I live so much further now and I still make the trip. After all, she's been in business for a LONG time, she must be doing something right!
DO NOT ....I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE this owner your business! Tina, the owner who sits first table when you walk in salon is one of the most RUDEST and DISRESPECTFUL persons I've met. This woman talks to you any kinda way and feels as though she can treat you any kinda of way. Out of the 2 years I've been going to this salon I never called her out, always respectful and still tip her rude butt. Read all the consistent reviews about her ....they can't all be lies especially if they are over years of same exact reviews. MY SISTERS DO NOT GIVE THIS SALON ANY OF YOUR MONEY! GO somewhere else like to Spazio Nails in Scotch Plain where your treated like a human being. And your nail technician don't ALWAYS have attitude because of her life! TINA you will never see my business again and I will make sure all my family and friends from Plainfield that I referred to your shop will stop coming to get their nails done at your salon!
I just left modern nails and I’m very happy. Kelly is an amazing nail tech. I’m very satisfied with the service they provided. They are so very nice and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Will be coming back definitely!
