I’m not one to bother with reviews but felt I need too this time.

Called in tonight for fish and chips and have got to say they were delicious. Portions were very big and wow the fish was fresh and I can honestly say it was the best I have had for a long long time. I would 100% recommend this chippy.

Not only that the staff are really friendly and welcoming.

THE worst Chippy I’ve ever had. Got 2 chip barms, don’t know if they were the chips from the day before, but never had anything like it. Dry, cardboard like chips, even with loads of salt and vinegar. Can’t understand how this place has 4.6 stars if they are happy to dish out stuff like that! Not like it was even cheap, £5.10 for 2 chip barms!!! Fed them to the ducks on the canal and even they turned their beaks up!!

Proper English Chippy, Homemade cheese and onion pie is the best

Brilliant fish and chip shop. Everything freshly cooked. Lovely gravy - and everyone knows we northern girls love our gravy. Great value kids fish and chips which ny daughter demands.

Delicious food! Fish has crispy batter not soggy! Rag puddings are a favourite. Decent sized portions too. The staff and really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended English chippy.

Proper fish and chips. And mushy peas just like when I was a kid. Loads of chips...Best English chippy for miles. Very nice staff.
