Just ordered fish and chips from here, chips were cooked beautifully as was the fish. Batter wasn't soggy and was just the right amount. You could even choose if you wanted your fish lightly battered! Could tell the peas were proper peas and not just tinned too. Never find chippies like this anymore, will definately be ordering from here again!
I've been a few times now over the past weeks and this last time there were eleven people in front of me.I wasn't going anywhere else because I knew that the fish and chips would be straight out of the fryer and be red hot.When to I left there must have been another twelve queueing.Just goes to show how good the food is lovely white fish and nice chunky chips.Good value.Thanks.

Really nice fish and chips, cooked fresh but worth the wait. Prices are reasonable, no more expensive than any where else.
Good sized portions of fish and chips. When it's good it's very good. When it's not it's poor. The fish batter can be thick and heavy and limp and greasy. Sadly this has been more common lately.
They have a very nice spicy Irish chip shop curry as well as the more common English one. Mushy peas are great too.
My new favourite fish and chip shop! Always good quality food. Staff are lovely (and hilarious!!) Fairly priced for good portions.

Very disappointed. Fish was thin and batter thick. chips OK but obviously cooked in oil. Only used coz shears was closed never gonna happen again. Shears is best chippy in area by far and away
