This place is the best barbershop hands down! I used to go here back in the early 2000's and when I moved back to Norman I was so excited to have my barbershop back. I've lived and traveled all over and good luck find a real barbershop these days. There is so much history in this little shop that it makes it fun to feel like your part of that history. Everyone there is a barber not a cosmetologist and you'll notice a real difference. They know how to cut with a callick, they know how to blend and and the lines are very straight. They even use hot foam and a straight razor for the back of the neck. I NEVER walk out itchy from hair down my neck! I NEVER have to go home and trim spots that were missed! No need for some silly app to book an appointment, just walk-in! FYI they are a cash only so stop by the ATM before you go!

My first experience with Terry will not be my last! The other reviews here mention never going to another barber shop again.. I am here to echo the same!
Been coming here off-and-on (when in town) for 14 years. Can say it is the home-grown style of barbershop. Excellent service by experienced barbers. Never get tired of coming here.
After my last time, as I said under here, I was not that happy, but Jim, tha owner ask me to give then a second chance. I did amd I am happy I did and to feel welcome into the barbershop and get a really nice haircut and service.
I believe it is fair to say that if I can I will try this again. As last time, I like how they cut my hair, but I feel better this time. I also brought a friend who really liked it too. I am happy I was wrong about my first impresion.
I was looking for real barber. Apparently I found it. But when I enter this kind of places I expect them to be more welcoming. I enter the shop and the two barbers did not even look to me and ask me anything, I had to ask them how long was it going to take and make myself into the shop. I truly believe this is not the treatment you should give to customer, I am sorry.
I liked the hair cut somehow, but also found many long and out of place hairs that the barber should have taken care of.and I believe it was because the barber was more interested in the conversation he was having with somebody else that in my head.
I had a rough experience a few years ago and left for awhile. In a pinch, I went back today and they are my new go to place again! Lily and Jim were so much fun and I instantly felt like she had been my barber for years.
You can’t find an $18 haircut anywhere, and they are doing it and doing it well. She NAILED my skin fade and even shaved.
Highly recommend!

This is a great place to get a trim. Always an interesting conversation and all the barbers are top notch. Tonya is amazing, and is worth asking for. It's a good cut at a good price. Jim's playlists however, could use a little diversity.
