Unarguably the best traditional 'proper' fish and chip shop in the North West.
All products cooked fresh to order, friendly customer service, very clean and prices more than fair and reasonable.
Mick and his staff work hard to maintain this fantastic diamond of a place to a high standard and easily succeed.

The food from Mick's Chippy is excellent. The portion sizes are very generous, the prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is great too. The only down side is the size of the queue, but it's definitely worth waiting for, and that many people wouldn't be queuing for rubbish food!
Cracking food. Always good service, and have a nice chat with the staff. There food is top notch never disappoints. Clean shop with great staff. Always feel welcome here and they care about what they do. Can't complain about anything food is really good especially the fish and chips with gravy.

It doesn't get much better than this, never ever had a bad order, everything on the menu is delicious, nicely cooked, fresh and hot.
