Very poor business practices. Made an appointment for a haircut online, but apparently their system makes appointments with people who don’t work there anymore.
After sitting there for 30 minutes watching their friends call or text in to get in ahead of people, they told me that person doesn’t work there anymore and that they are booked up the rest of the day.
I will certainly not recommend this place to anybody that asks me for a recommendation. It seems they have all the clients and business that they need.
Amanda is amazing. Would definitely recommend her as an exceptional barber and a great personality. Very sweet and genuine person who takes being the best at her craft seriously. Me and my friends have been seeing her for years and never heard of a less than ideal haircut come from her.
These guys are great. I've had my hair cut by all of the regulars and I come out looking sharp everytime. I really appreciate the attention to detail that these barbers have. The wait can be pretty long if you just walk in so I highly recommend calling ahead. Overall the Metropolitan is an awesome place for a haircut.
Metropolitan Barber Shop is awesome! Good atmosphere, now able to make appointment ahead of time, cold beer to go with a quality cut....it doesn't get any better. Tim's a great barber, always provides a good cut and has a good sense of humor to boot.....you cant go wrong getting a cut here!
Phenomenal!!! Best place to get a haircut in Bend. Tim is the man, and one of the few people who can cut my hair, and make it look great! If Tim is not around, the whole staff has mad skills. In addition you can have a free beer on them.
Tim is awesome! I always get my haircut here ever since I was a kid. Jim used to cut my hair in the horse chair they have for the kids. Great place with very talented barbers. And they serve beer and whiskey. Keep up the good work guys
Metropolitan just got a whole lot better. Amanda P. has moved her expert skills in men's and young boys cuts into a chair. Terrific tight/smooth fades and a true pride of workmanship in her trade. If you need a trim, or feeling shaggy and want to impress. Get an appointment with Amanda ,M-Friday 1PM to close.
A classic barbershop where you can get a trim and a beer in a low-key comfortable environment. Tim is my guy, but Skylar and Ryan also do a nice job...great to have multiple backups. After reading other reviews, getting shave is on my to do list.
