A great barber shop in the UES! The staff is friendly, the service is quick and prices reasonable. I loved my haircut (side-shave) with Hilda, who's wonderful! I'll definitely be back here. What a gem!

I didn't get the barber I was looking for and they gave me a female barber who gave me a really bad haircut. She didn't even take the time to go through the detail work with my hair she didn't know what a "line-up" was and she completely messed up my hair-line and now I have to figure out how to solve my crisis. Never going there again.

George cut my hair all 7 years I lived in NYC, and he always left me looking my absolute best...I tell him, my wife fell in love with me because of his haircuts! In all seriousness, if you're in the area, don't go anywhere else. Become a regular here, George will memorize exactly how you love your hair and deliver every single time. I wouldn't have let anyone touch my hair except George, probably even if I had moved downtown or something, I would've taken the train just to make sure George could hook it up. Anyway, def come here! 5 stars all the way.

I've been getting my haircut here for years, always quality haircuts for a reasonable price. The barber shop is newly renovated, no appointment needed and it's open every day of the week except for Mondays. George (the owner and one of the barbers) is great, professional and a good guy. Consistently great haircuts, I highly recommend this barber shop.

George is the best. I've been getting hair cuts here for at least three years and whether it's George, or another barber from Manhattan Barber Shop cutting my hair, they all do an amazing job. Best barber shop on the Upper East Side!

Great place for getting a haircut. George has been cutting my hair for years and consistently does a great job. Reasonable prices and the new location is big, bright, and clean. If anyone in the family needs a haircut, I highly recommend Manhattan Barber Shop.
