good value. first visit since it changed name and refurbished. freshly made pizza was good. plates not cleared away quickly though. can't really comment on the beer as only had lager shandy due to driving. would go again.
Update.
After 8 months we've decided to come back and try it. Have to admit food(for the price) reasonable (tho steak was far from what I would call a steak), staff behind the bar polite and friendly but table service is still far behind... Just like 8months ago table wasn't prepared, no forks, knifes,napkins, salt pepper... Yet again we have had plates and we had to ask for those kettle things, you know without you really sit and look at your plate... Come on... You've refreshed inside, new look, new vibe, new menu, maybe it's time to train your waitresses on what is needed to know????
What happened there....new staff and....food just to be thrown into the bin....cremated steak (asked for medium rare)and "grilled"tomato that touched the grill for 5 seconds...chicken with a hard rim to work our jaws,I suppose to work us out after a meal??Staff leaving you with food without forks and knifes,condiments or even a check that we need anything...Managemet coming with a hand full of excuses to cover all of it...No...seriously...itas our local pub but,well,we are looking for another one...shame...

A place to go when you want to have a fun experience with your freinds and family the selection of deserts made this a 5 star stop for us, we would happily come again :)
Food was good when it eventually arrived. Chef had decided they were closing the kitchen early. So we ordered on the app once we'd figured it out. By which time we were told the chef had decided to close the kitchen early. Waitress was good as were the bar staff.
cooked my steak totally wrong, sent it back for another, served another full table before putting me another steak on so my full family had finished eating I'm still sat here with no food and another table has been fully served (& others!) Without an apology the whole time. absolutely disgusting customer service.
Told the lady who came to the table to take the food that the customer service was absolutely disgusting and I'm not happy at all. To then be told we are barred and to leave. Along with our children. I have never experienced more poor customer service in my life. Absolutely diabolical.

Tables are always clean when we visit. Staff are friendly and really accommodating to my group and our dogs. Food is decent and arrives hot. Drink prices are good. Glad it's my local.
