Clean beach, came early on Saturday to get a spot in the beginnings of this year’s heatwave. Lots of stones but patches of sand here and there when the tide out. Had a good time swimming in the waves. Water was lovely warm. Train is 10 minute walk from the beach, so convenient. Not many cafés or restaurants open unfortunately. But we had a fun time!
Really nice stretch of beach with facilities and a restaurant. Parking was fairly priced, £1 for 2 hours and up to £4 for all day.
On windy days you can see kite surfers too
Nice beach overall, quite clean and lots of families enjoying themselves. Quite a nice place to stretch your legs and get a coffee.

Rocky beach like Brighton but with far fewer people.
At least two stall shops doing fast food, coffees, ice cream etc And there's a larger restaurant, too. Loo facilities by the car park (there might be more up by the restaurant, I can't mind).
When the weather is good, this place is ace.
Clean, peaceful, 2 cafes offer fish and chips, burgers, churros, ice cream, pizza and other popular beachy food. Toilet is opened till 19:00. Parking does not look to be very full at any time but you gotta pay. Not Sandy but still nice for a walk or to lay down with blanket, also kids playground and space for rollers, bicycles, plenty of benches. Saw people swimming in late august and recently in late March
My Mum lives across the road, a beautiful day out. There's not a lot of parking but worth a short walk if you park further back in town. The Train station is only 10min walk. They have toilets, a skate park, a normal park, restaurant & snack hut. Come and join us! Xx
