Gorgeous place for a Sunday Afternoon quiet family walk and a bit of kite flying. Free parking too. Great
Great views over Newport, Wales, Prince of Wales Bridge and Avonmouth. Lovely to be able to enjoy them and take a walk without worrying about cost as it's free. A play park for the kids, boating lake and outdoor swimming. Fantastic
A lovely lake to walk around or just sit and relax by. Very nice scenery around this area.
Very relaxing by the lake, especially as the weather was amazing - hot and sunny.
Free parking for the family to enjoy the boating lake. Lovely area for the kids to play and have a family picnic. There is also a open air lido. Great location.
I know places like this have charge a premium I get it but over £5 for battered sausage chips and curry sauce is steep. When you factor in the fact that the chips are mostly hard and the curry sauce has clearly been watered down to consistency of soup I have been left feeling like I have been mugged right off! It pays to be organised and bring a packed lunch!
Not much to do except look at the View and freeze in the cold other than that it's ok but dog liked it
