I just got my haircut here today. BEST DAMN HAIRCUT I’VE HAD IN 15 YEARS!! Stephanie was very patient and cut my hair PERFECTLY!! She can do things “Old School” like I like it, or she can do a more modern cut. You have to have an appointment, and most of the time she’s running a little behind. But it’s worth waiting for!! She has a GREAT personality and it’s actually fun getting clipped here. She even gives ya a little barber after shave so you leave smelling good. I already made my next appointment!!
It was my 2nd visit here, I stopped in Tuesday to make a 4 o'clock appointment for Friday of the same week. Well Friday Dec 2nd came and unfortunately for me she double booked herself. And I arrived 5 minutes early, was told it would be 10 to15 minutes wait and at first I was okay waiting. But it became a 30 minute wait and she still wasn't finished with the guys haircut, too much talking and not enough cutting, and unfortunately for me, I couldn't waiting any longer because I had appointment elsewhere. What is damn point for this place having their customers even making schedule appointment if they don't even honor their customers appointment, very disappointing and frustrating experience. Totally lack of concern for their customer and for their own reputation.
Would not recommend this place to anyone its a waste of time.
The best Barber shop I go too and the only place I will go to get my haircut it is like stepping back in time when the world was not so politically, correct they treat you like a friend and I really believe they do appreciates my business and to that being said I say Thank you lake area Barber Shop
I've been getting my haircut here for a couple years now. I live in Pleasant Prairie so Antioch is about 1/2 hr. drive, but it's worth it. Stephanie and Geoff are fun to talk to and Stephanie always does a great job on my hair. Highly recommended‼️
I made an appointment for Saturday on Tuesday afternoon 4 days in advance for my son and I and it turns out they are sick I understand that part no problem you can’t control that but why not call and cancel the day before or early in the morning I would of made other arrangements I drove 20 minutes to get there at 1 pm and get told I’m booked and the guy who was going to cut our hair is sick and didn’t come in I’m going to a party at 4 pm and every other barbershop is booked for the day hint appointments mean nothing to this people would I go back? no it was my first time going there and it was a disappointment do your self a favor go somewhere more professional
Well I just left from my haircut at this local barber and all I can say is THANK GOD for a true barber. This location is a warm friendly location that tends to great haircuts. Also this is a true barber shop where you don't always have to be politically correct and you can enjoy your conversation. To the owners I say keep it up and thank you for a true barber shop experience. GOD BLESS and thank you.
Stephanie paid more attention to detail than anybody ever has with my hair, and she was a lot of fun to talk to. Its a family business and they take great care in their craft - the results speak for themselves. I will be recommending Lake Area Barber Shop to everybody with hair on their head.
Hard to get an appointment but a great haircut worth the wait. Old fashioned personal service.
