Staying in nearby Lake and bought a large takeaway meal for a family of five.

The shop is clean and tidy inside and the service was prompt.

Everything was well cooked and piping hot, we’ll all enjoyed the meal and everybody is 100% the next day.

Would have been five stars but it wasn’t cheap, but may be that’s Island life?

Amazing quality food. Lots of flavour. Our go-to Chinese when on holiday for 20+ years. The owners are lovely, very friendly and more than happy to adapt the meals to suit the level of heat you want.

My partner ordered last night over the phone and collected from shop.We spent £40 approx on three meals.On sitting down to eat my own I noticed a difference in the smell and initially thought they may have tweaked their recipe slightly,however,this was not to be and I discovered to my disgust that some portions of the meat( chicken?) were decidedly past their best.In short,they stank!

I immediately stopped eating and asked the others how their food was,in turn, each expressed dismay on the quality of their dish and was deciding to curtail their evening repast in favour of continued reasonable health.

So,the outcome was,three meals ,inedible through incorrect preparation/ingredient quality,or both, in the bin!

We have eaten from them before quite a few times and I have to say this was the first time the food was 'suspect' so I decided to give them a ring and express my dissatisfaction.

I was told that our food had been freshly prepared with quality ingredients,(of course they would,wouldn't they), and that under no circumstances when food has left the premises do they offer any form of redress in way of replacement or a refund.( I did ask as to how else was one supposed to inspect their meal until said meal had arrived at the desired location.(i.e. our table,)but was met with a slightly 'tumbleweed moment' of silence from the other end of the phone.)

Unfortunately,during the night,my suspicions regarding my own particular menu selection were confirmed by numerous visits to the bathroom,( at this point I choose discretion and invite you,dear reader, to use your imagination.)

In short, If you wish to live life 'on the edge' regarding your well being then by all means partake,If on the other hand,you decide to err on the side of caution one can only recommend that you seriously entertain the option of dining elsewhere.

Very tasty food and good value for money. Excellent, friendly service. The owner obviously takes pride in her shop and it is clean and well maintained inside and out. Would definitely recommend this takeaway to others.

Never expected takeaway food to have been this tasty…it’s not because we were hungry, we just fancied something simple and quick. This was a solution and exceeded our expectations. I did wonder when waiting the number of patrons that ordered and collected. It wasn’t just one or two items, it was a lot to feed a family! Great effort guys and keep it up.

Came on holiday and found this place. Absolutely fantastic. Staff were ever so friendly and helpful and the food was phenomenal ???? would 110% reccomend to anyone.
