Have gone to Kim’s Nails for 1-1/2 years. After new set acrylic nails—I’m through with Kims Nails. Acrylic doesn’t go to edges of my nail beds and the polish doesn’t cover the acrylic all the way! Polish is sloppy and jagged! It looks like I need a fill in and I got the full set yesterday!! Went back today to at least fix the polish hoping that would help. Kim said “I no have to. Why you No have gel polish? I no fix. You no have gel.” She added more of the polish and didn’t fix the edges or anything!! No More! I’m done! See my pics -
I have mixed emotions about Kim's Nails. It just depends on who's doing your service. All technicians are not trained well. If you find a technician you like, remember their name and stick with them. They have some new people who are fresh out of school and while I understand they are still learning, im particular about my nails and will not allow them to practice on my nails anymore. Customers should not pay full price when these technicians are doing our nails. Especially, when they are not done properly. Kim doesn't care. She will defend them and say it's right even when you point out how the nails are uneven, shaped differently, and acrylic has been applied too thick.
I'm a regular customer so I left the other half of money in my car because I decided to get eye brow done. Told her I have to go to car right quick for more money. She follows me to the door outside. So the way she did it and others customers was in their I think I will take my business some where else. Beware they will talk about you. Be ready to put them in there place.
This was my first visit with this salon. 30 min wait @1030 am and a lil pricey,
but everything came out super cute. I will be back
Kim is lovely. They treat you very professional. She does my nails. They could use some better pedicure people,but on the weekends, the younger girls do a terrific job. If there was one thing it would be having to wait so long but that's my only issue. As long as the water is hot and checked on. I can sit most of the time,but sometimes they are so busy.Not enough people to work. I would still highly recommend. I can ALWAYScount on complimentS from everywhere I go that my nails are nice
Worst experience ever. I asked for ombré nails and they look terrible. My sister wanted sns tips but the lady refused and wouldn’t. The lines on her nails look like a child did it. My moms pedicure was the worst one she has ever had. They guy that takes your temp and meets you at the door hovers over everyone the whole time.
My second visit here and was the second worst experience of my life. The owner did my nails and I believe because I only needed a full in, I was given lesser treatment and priority. She told me the color I picked was ugly and was making such loud rude and abusive comments to me that others in the salon were looking. On top of that every time the phone rang I had to wait for her to finish with the phone call to continue with my nails. Probably close to an extra 30 minutes. All I can say is at least she did do a good job on my nails this time because the first time I had my nails done there I couldn't even tell I'd had a fill in. I have never had an experience like this in my 47 years of life. Unbelievable is all I can say! I hope this reaches someone who is need if their nails done and stops them from going to Kim's nail studio and possibly being subject to the Crazy little secretary nail lady's psychotic behavior.
Worst nail experince ever. The manicure was bad. The person that did my nails can't do a easy or simple design. Would not recommend going here.
