Lovely light airy place.

Perfect for a Sunday morning breakfast.

Staff helpful, polite and friendly.

Very reasonably priced, though dont do poached eggs sadly. Good portions, vegetarian options.

Plenty of places to eat in Christchurch but thoroughly recommend Kelly’s Kitchen for a Big Breakfast or a full English currently offering half price breakfasts before 11am.

Went in today at around 2 o'clock for a bite to eat with my friend. We were greeted with being asked what we wanted in the most abrupt tone by a waitress who clearly had had enough for the day. The food was alright, nothing too special. The price mark was way above the value of my meal. I had a chicken burger which was good, with a salad that consisted of green salad leaves and raw red onion. It came with some oven chips too. The waiting staff are nonchalant, generally rude and have a dismissive attitude. Although we were asked if we needed any sauces and things, when we said what we'd like, the waitress behaved like it was a hardship. Then the waitress asked if she could clear some of the table. What she actually did was clear everything, including the plate my friend was still eating from. Astonishing. The atmosphere and the nature of the staff made it clear we weren't going to get anywhere by complaining. If you like simplistic and friendly experiences when eating out with pleasant staff around you, this isn't the place to go.

I visited Kelly’s in Christchurch for a breakfast out with my mum this week. The service was speedy, and the waiting staff were very polite friendly and chatty! It was suggested by a local friend and it did not disappoint. The food was yummy and came hot.

I would recommend visiting, and will be retuning soon. Thanks everyone at Kelly’s for the lovely experience for me and my mum!

A great cafe to visit if visiting Christchurch. I went for breakfast which was half price if you buy a hot drink. You do feel a bit pushed to order quickly as staff are eager to serve you as there is table service. The breakfast was very tasty, hot and well presented. You have to pay at the counter which can take time if they are busy. An option to pay at your table would be a good idea. All in all very good.

I normally come to this place, in Christchurch, from my home in Switzerland, once a year on the 28th of February.

Circumstances will see me back this year for the second time, and I will be inviting friends and family, for a meal.

What can I say?

Great friendly service.

Back again at the end of September drinking an excellent coffee whilst waiting for our food.

Breakfast half price before 11.00.....I don't know how they do it. Beans and mushrooms could have been a little hotter though. We'll be back in February !!

Je viens normalement à cet endroit, à Christchurch, depuis chez moi en Suisse, une fois par an le 28 février. Les circonstances me verront revenir cette année pour la deuxième fois, et j'inviterai amis et famille, pour un repas. Que puis-je dire ?

Les baked beans et les champignons auraient pu être un peu plus chauds, alors.

Lovely place, lots of room, clean facilities, nice staff.

We had coffee and waffles, went down well and prices were good. Definitely recommend it as a pit stop.

This place is awful. Slow, disinterested service and low quality food. I had the pleasure of semi-cold oven chips, an underdone egg (who can't cook an egg!) and if you order bacon, egg & chips beware you'll get only one rasher.

Wont ever return. Do better.
