Been coming here for years! Tony was a top guy and a truly outstanding barber who cared about his customers and always made sure their haircuts were cheaper than what others offered in the area. I was genuinely upset to hear he had passed on! But he's left some amazing Barbers in his place very happy with my new style/cut I will continue to return here for years to come! Have been to just gents for my last 4/5 cuts and they always get it just right. Always a very friendly service and you can tell the barbers have years of experience cutting hair. I had the new lad last time and he gave me a really good low 1 fade and tapered the neck properly, was feeling sharp to say the least! Overall for the service they are great value for the level of cut you’re getting.
I really like coming here for a haircut, but my last 3-4 visits the place has been understaffed. Literally they've had 2 ladies cutting hair and the cue is just taking forever to get through. Back in the day there was a member of staff ready at every chair. I understand that costs to run a business have sky rocketed, but I'm seriously not waiting an hour to be seen, I think anything more than 40 minutes is already a joke. I will start going elsewhere unfortunately.
My go to place for a haircut. Ruth is an expert! She always does a brilliant job, I am 100% satisfied with the service and the level of cleanliness as well. I have been in a situation where they were closed and I went somewhere else which ended up in a disaster but came back to Just Gents in few weeks and the team fixed my hair and now I feel confident. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Very polite and professional staff, really good haircut just how i asked for, thought the price was £14 for a skin fade but it’s an old menu (ignore old menu attached in photos). Overall a good barber store and would very much recommend it.
I've been coming here since the turn of the century, and my experiences are overwhelmingly positive. There are some, odd, comments below - "another customers hair in the sink" - you are in a barbers?! Anyway, the price for a gents cut is probably average for CMK (not going to put a price as in 2 years it might change) and you get a good reliable cut. It gets busy during peak times so the thing to do is get there early, especially on weekends. The staff have always been polite to me and I always see the barbers chatting to other customers to be fair.
My single experience of this place so far was very mediocre. The staff are friendly enough, but the haircut wasn't great and was conducted at about a million miles per hour. I wanted a basic short-back-and-sides using no.2 clippers on the sides, and the end result is uneven and tufty even in places where they used clippers. All this for the knock-down price of £18 for about 12 minutes in the chair. I doubt I'll be back.
Went on Monday, quiet time. One lady hairdresser . 2nd in queue. Good job. Recommend. Thanks
