Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Nice classic cafe with good, well cooked food. Service was good even though one one person running the entire show. Have a little patience and you are rewarded with a good hearty breakfast. Prices are fantastic.
Toilet still out of order after 4 months at least.
Still got chips out of the mugs.
Tea and coffee ☕☕ only £2.00
Not much else ????.
Only scored 3 on the food hygiene from Havant Council.
Looking forward to it picking up in the future it's in a prime location.
Helpful staff for the locals, some of which I went to school ???? with in the early 70s.
Need to fix the toilet as that's what we came in for.
Difficult place to review.
Very friendly server who was giving it his all, as I walked in it was clear he was holding down the fort, taking orders, making orders, washing up. He needs a pay rise and a pat on the back from the owner! Or if he’s the owner he needs to make some desperate changes. With some tweaks this place will get repeat custom from new customers.
Walked in to dirty plates and mugs on the counter. The only menus were printed on paper and covered in bean splatter. Had to wait 10 minutes to be served. The mugs had chips on the rim. One toilet which was out of order and barricaded by unsightly tables & chairs.
Once our order was taken the food came swiftly after. The food was good, £7 for a full breakfast so a fine price.
3 stars for the lovely server/chef. Missing 2 stars for what this place is clearly lacking.
Nice diner with on road parking just next to the seafront on the south of Hayling. Diner that has been running for years, they have a large variety of meals, light bites, some desserts, a drinks fridge, also cakes to buy individually. Both indoor and outdoor seating. The decor is great, the walls are filled with old pictures that are historical and it's interesting the theme they've got going on.
Good to pop in for lunch, quick and easy :)
first and last visit....smallest breakfast for price...tin tomatoes were cold/ no warmth at all...when I ask for S&P it was just pointed out to me as he walked past them...need more customer service...not a comfortable setting
Enjoyed the service and the location, food was all good.
My only gripes were the price, seemed almost like restaurant price but in a corner street cafe setting, also was told no to scrambled eggs but I could have fried which didn't make sense to me and no explanation.
Was under the impression they was closing down. Not much choice for food. No menus or prices up and definitely could do with a little tlc
Shocking had tea and bacon sandwich twice sandwiches served on china with chips in it. mugs unclean stained in the bottom expansive and not even nice wouldn’t recommend

Quick Facts About Jr's Diner

Jr's Diner, as described by the comments, has both strengths and weaknesses that contribute to its overall performance. In this analysis, we will explore the different aspects mentioned and provide an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
One of the main strengths mentioned by customers is the good, well-cooked food. This implies that the diner has skilled chefs who are able to prepare delicious meals. Additionally, the prices are praised as fantastic, which is beneficial in attracting customers who are looking for affordable dining options. The fact that the food came swiftly after ordering also indicates efficient service, which is another positive attribute.
Another strength mentioned by customers is the friendly and helpful staff. This is particularly appreciated by the locals, as some of them have connections to the staff from previous years, creating a sense of community. The dedication of the server, who was running the entire show from taking orders to washing up, showcases the commitment of the staff and their willingness to provide good service. This is further emphasized by the suggestion of a pay rise and recognition for the server, which indicates that customers value his efforts.
The location of the diner is also considered a strength, with it being situated in a prime location next to the seafront. This benefits the diner by attracting potential customers who are drawn to the area, particularly tourists and beachgoers. The fact that the diner has been running for years also suggests that it has built a reputation and a customer base over time.
However, there are several weaknesses that have been highlighted by customers. One major issue is the state of the facilities, specifically the toilet. Despite being out of order for at least four months, it has not been fixed, which is a significant concern for customers. Additionally, dirty plates and mugs were observed, and the mugs themselves had chips on the rim. These hygiene issues could lead to a negative impression of the diner and deter potential customers.
Another weakness mentioned is the low score of 3 on the food hygiene rating given by the Havant Council. This rating raises concerns about the cleanliness and safety of the food preparation and handling processes, which could negatively impact the diner's reputation and customer trust.
Customer service is also identified as an area for improvement, with comments about the lack of customer service and a need for more attentive staff. This suggests that the overall dining experience may be compromised by inadequate service.
Furthermore, the lack of menu options and prices displayed, as well as the suggestion that the diner appeared to be closing down, detract from the overall appeal of the establishment. Transparency and variety are important factors in attracting customers and making them feel comfortable and informed.
In conclusion, Jr's Diner has several strengths, such as good, well-cooked food, fantastic prices, a friendly and helpful staff, and a prime location. However, there are also notable weaknesses, including the persistent issues with the toilet, unclean dishes and mugs, a low food hygiene rating, and a lack of customer service and transparency. Addressing these weaknesses is crucial for the diner to improve its overall performance and attract repeat customers.
