I’ve read a comment lowballing this place just because they don’t take walk-ins AND because they are Asian. Really?!! FYI there’s a big sign at the door saying that. The place is BUSY and everyone must call for appointments. I use this business for 10 years and was always like that. Amy (the hair professional) works ALONE and takes care of ONE customer at a time, taking an average of 20 minutes per job. The service is flawless and the price is UNDER the average around, almost by half. How can you dare give 1 star and also mentioning about her ethnicity? She is Asian, Im Hispanic, the guy sitting next to me now is Pacific Islander, the othey guy that Amy is working now is Black, a subject walking by the sidewalk is Mid Eastern. About you? Do you know what? Do us (the customers) a favor and go find somewhere else to do business. We love Amy the way she is.
Amy is hilariously curt with her customers, which may put some people off. However, she backs up that attitude with a best-for-value haircut and fade for only $21. Specializing in men's hair, Johnny's (who is Johnny, anyway) is definitely recommended if you're in the area and like to keep it simple.
$22 for a same day appointment and a great cut that took 20 minutes. From long hair to short hair. Amy is great, and works very hard!
This lady is fast, cheap, and does better work than most black barbers. I've taken my two boys here for the past year and I have never been disappointed, she takes 15 minutes and always always does a fantastic job.
Been here twice and will return. Clean! Number one most important thing. Good service! And fair price and good customer service. No complaints
Amy has been cutting my hair for twenty years. She always does a great job. You need a reservation though. She is too popular and busy for walk-ins. Cash only, no cards.
Walked into this place and noticed that everyone in there was Asian including the lady barber. Not a problem for me as I really don't care either way as long as someone can cut hair right. But, it must have been a problem for them because she was rude and said quickly that she has no openings. There was only 3 people in the room. I asked her if they have openings for the afternoon, and she said NO! I would have hoped she would have said let me book you a date and time.But she acted like she didn't even want me in there. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
Amy (the owner and barber) is funny, talented, and very popular with Pacifica residents. Call several days in advance to make an appointment, because she's the only barber in the shop.
