I've been to JJ Nails several times. It's decent, compared to other nearby salons, but lacks the little extras (paraffin waxes, massages, etc.) offered by other salons for the same price. I've had several dips in the past and been pleased. I just got regular polish this last time, for a photoshoot the next day, fully understanding that my manicure would likely last the weekend and not much more. Well, before the photoshoot even took place, the polish peeled right off my thumb. I had to glue it back on for my photos.
When I called the salon, they offered to repaint my nails, with no refund or discount for the future to make up for the trouble. I had a baby 10 days ago and I have way too much to do for the holidays to sit and have my nails painted again. I can do that myself and will in the future, because I shouldn't have to get a dip or gel polish for it to last literally more than 24 hours.
The service is amazing and my nails came out great. The shop is clean and everyone is so nice. We will definitely be back !
They were to busy to find out exactly what I wanted. First they nicked my cuticle on my toe then they put on acrylic and dip on my fingers which is not what I asked for. When I mentioned the mistake she dropped my hand and stormed off. I said I wanted my finger nails shaped round and they filed them square. It was my first visit. I do not recommend.
Everyone was super friendly and the pedicure was absolutely amazing but, I was really unhappy about my nails. I got tips and dip powder. They were lumpy and very thick around the cuticles and one started lifting a couple of hours after getting them done. I would definitely go back for a pedicure but probably never again to have my nails done.
These are really nice people! I went here for 5 months. I liked them because I would be in and out in 1 hour which for dip nails is fast. However that fast service has really damaged my nails. They are quick because they grind down your nails to get old product off. After 5 months it became really painful and I explained the pain but they didn’t change anything. For convenience they are great but not for a long term nail tech- I think they need to change their practices.
Focuses on massage. I had my pedicure and manicure done at the same time which is still relaxing, but time efficient which I like. It was busy but no one had to wait over 5 minutes. Clean environment upon first visit. Very patient staff. Prices on par with other nail spas who don't focus on massage. You get more for your money here.
I went in knowing I wanted a certain red for my nails and didn't find it in the colors offered. I mentioned it to Helen and she mixed a couple colors to get the perfect red I was looking for!!! ❤️

The lady that was doing my nails hurt me a number of times and told me “it’s because my nails were short.” And I understand that when your nails are short it’s not as comfortable but I’ve never been hurt like that at my usual salon or anywhere else for that matter. On top of that another customer left a $10 tip and $5 was supposed to go to the person who did her manicure and $5 was supposed to go to the person who did her pedicure. The lady doing my nails made a snarky comment about how the person was cheap. As a waitress that makes tips, you should be appreciative for getting a tip at all much less the amount someone is leaving you. I will not return to this salon ever. Poor service and mediocre nails. The only positive that I have is the lady that did my pedicure was very nice and even complimented my tattoo and I felt very relaxed after.
