Went here at lunchtime 12pm. The young lady behind the counter (with red & blonde hair) was excellent. Smiled when I walked in and said hello to me. Was able to answer my question about the curry sauce, which allowed me to make the right choice.
The pricing is great for the portion size. You could even charge a little bit more.
Definitely recommend this place to anyone to try.
Food tasted amazing and fresh, didn't feel like it had been sat out all day, quite cheap compared to other places I've been to, really good if you're in Barry and fancy something to eat. I will definitely visit again.
Been useing this place for years but after reading some of the other review many people start off with the same sentence then follow with a negative review so in all the years of fantastic service to the community and people of Barry you haven't left a positive feedback but are happy to slate a business it's sad but I can assure everyone the food is still on point and great value for money you won't be disappointed
Update: Haddock here is the best. You'll wait 10-15 mins and 20 on a busy day but it's the tastiest and biggest in any chipshop in Barry.
Fantastic portions. The food is lovely and not greasy like some chip shops. The sausage and batter was a little dry for being unsold for a while and the fish cake wasn't that fresh but all in all it was a good catch.
Good fish and chips, pies, saussges, chicken, etc. It's local and I like it.
Food is good and nice, quick service staff are very nice I use this chippy as my regular for these reasons
Couldn't believe they did an OAP option. Just the right size, affordable price, delicious food.
Always go their for food, very nice and clean and the staff are nice and friendly
