I purchased hair gel which arrived damaged via the online store over 5 months ago. I immediately sent photos of the damage and the store representative assured me that they would send me a replacement or a refund if they could not replace the item. I was patient for five months and checked in with them regularly to get an update. Finally, after reaching out numerous times and waiting for many months they refunded the price of the item but expected that I pay for the shipping. At this point I have been kind and patient and keep getting the run around. Not a good experience at all.
I absolutely love this store for one, it' nice to go into a hair store (such as these) and not be followed the entire time like some of those in Hammond stereotyping all of US. The young lady that works there on the floor helping with the wigs is extremely knowledgeable in what she does which is very refreshing. After going to every hair store in Hammond and explaining my daughter's spotted hair loss and buying countless hair care products over a 3 year span, she told me about a product and it really worked. Thanks to her and Kaleidoscope (I believe it was called, created by a lady in New Orleans), now for many $20 is a lot to keep wasting on failing products but yet want to make sure you and your always look flawless, this is well worth that $20. I wish I could remember her name, but thank you so much! You go in and she remembers you and actually gives something that is truly a thing of the past, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! ????
I found everything I needed..I do have a complaint about the derogatory music that was being played in the place business. It had profanity and racial slurs. I understand the community the business is in but it still should keep in mind to have a professional atmosphere and not every customer wants to hear that type of music.
They have a wide variety of hair products and accessories. They also carry makeup and jewelry. One of the biggest hairstores I've ever been to in Amite. The atmosphere was clean and well lit for shopping. The owner was very helpful and so were the associates when it came down to locating a specific product for me.

I first walk in, and I'm blown back by the cleanliness and neatness of the products offered and just the store in itself.
The staff was friendly and very informative about the products they offer.

The pepole that work there are so nice and they have great hours even open on Sundays and they don’t close at 5:00 so when i get off from work i can still get what i need.
The other hair store in Amite does not have good hours at and competition is a good thing.

I love the selections, however I don't like that they Always, every single time I've been there, want me to buy the wig off the mannequin instead of brand new. I don't want nothing everybody been playing in all day.
