My son gets his hair done by Noelle. She's great and took time to explain the entire process as he is starting his loc journey. All of the stylists/staff are great at what they do!
My daughter used to go here with her Aunt when she was much younger and I'm so glad I remembered about this salon when my daughter asked for crochet braids!! Miss Noel did her hair and it looks amazing!! The girls (and guys on the other side) who do the hair are all friendly and I've never felt uncomfortable or like the odd one out, like I have in other places. Ive posted the before and after pics of her hair.
Keyshia was AMAZING with my baby and her hair is beautiful! Very clean place, follows covid procedures, reasonable rates, and a great amosphere! Will definitely be returning!
I love going to Hollywood Uni Sex to have my haircare done by my stylist Tica. The other staff members work as a family team. I have been knowing Tica for many years. She not only cares for my hair on a regular basics, she does hair care for my daughter, granddaughter and grandson. I have watched the other staff members do haircare and I can honestly say that it all done with love.
I love the place. The staff was very friendly and my starter locs came out beautifully ????
I had my hair styled by Tika. She is very knowledgeable about informing the client on how to care for their hair once leaving the salon. She is excellent on styling. Give her an idea of how you want your hair and she will work her magic. Keisha is all around excellent!!!
I've been going to this salon for a few yrs now. I love the pleasant atmosphere. This salon has Barbers and Stylists. The prices are reasonable and posted! You can pay for services with cash or credit cards! Now that is a plus!! I've used several of the stylists. All of the stylists are multi talented! Ms. Keisha is the manager. She is a great "people person" and she styles hair too! She has lots of patience and tender hands. She does my children's hair and we love her! Teka is really masterful styling those quick weaves and crochetes! Noel's quick wit and artful styling of the natural hair makes your time in her chair purposeful, funny and quick! Felicia is great as well! She is awesome with elevating your spirit and slayinn your hair! ????The stylists' individual consultations are great too!
Always a great experience. Every stylist has blessed hands that work to make you look your best. Healthy hair is their number one priority. My stylists are Felisha and Tika when Felisha is traveling. Felisha did the work in the pictures. This is a crochet braid install. Felisha has caused my hair to grow healthily to a great length from my big chop. Now it is time to put it up for a few months to give it a healthy break.
The shop is tidy and warm with laughter and positive energy. There are some incredibly gifted barbers on the other side of the wall who always seem to have very enlightening and engaging conversations going on with their patrons. And yes, the TV is on ESPN!
After a hard week at work, going in on a Saturday morning is my way of taking time to pamper myself with some of the greatest and most talented ladies on the planet. And special thanks to Keisha who oversees the operations of the business! She is always pleasant and just a sweet spirit that I enjoy being around.
