Extremely salty meals. It is second time I went there for food. First time the food was too salty so on my next visit I asked not to put salt at all. My words wasn’t heard. The duck I ordered was saltier than my sons pork ribs.
The duck was supposed to be stuffed with prawn meat, no sign of the stuffing at all but plenty of duck fatty skin instead. It doesn’t worth if for the price of £8.60 .
Maybe just simple fish and chips next time ????
I've only had the lemon chicken from here with rice and chips. I've been twice and each time the chicken has been cold but it was cooked through. It needs longer to warm up. The rest was fine. I'll happily go back as I really like the taste, and if it's cold next time I'll just microwave it.
Freshly cooked and really good food. I've had better takeaway, but Ho King is really good value and local. Cash only, I phone through orders and usually by the time I get there it's ready.
Local small Chinese takeaway. Good menu and nice food. This is a cash only takeaway. You can phone your order through in advance. Collection only. Typical waiting time usually around 15 minutes.
Ignore idiot review. The staff are efficient and straight to the point just like 99% of ALL the Chinese takeaway staff nationwide. If you want smiles head off to tgi Fridays. ..if you want a no nonsense chinese that is very fresh and clean come here. Would recommend
