Where do I start I saw the reviews so I went to that place thinking I'm going to love this place DO NOT let the salvadorian lady with blond hair do it I showed her the picture of the hair cut and she just glanced at it and said ok she was chopping my hair so aggressive she is like I'm going to give u layer which the hair cut I showed her did not have it was totally different from the picture she never said a word just complete silence and awkwardness she blow dry my hair and I look like Linda from Bob's burger so this lady didn't show me the back of my hair I paid 38 plus tip went home and straight my hair and took a pic of the back it was short long strands I called the place and offered to fix it when I get ther they just cut it again and "fixed " and I told the guy this is not what I wanted but he was in a rush to close the store and the salvadorian lady saw me and shrugged and didn't even apologize I will never go ther again because of that lady that's the hair style. I went in for and got that ugly hair cut

Maria is amazing and I’ve been going to her for many years and she never disappoints. Absolutely love her and everyone is very nice in the salon. I travel an hour just to see her. Highly recommend

This place is great! Gertrude saved me from a horrible dye job I got at Victoria’s Salon in Hicksville, NY. I walked in without an appointment on a Thursday night and asked her if she could fix my disaster dye job.. After inspecting my hair, she reassured me that she would do all she could to fix it. I loved the outcome! She did an amazing job.. It was exactly what I wanted the first time around. :)

Gertrudis knows what she is doing and is a very welcoming, nice & professional person. This is the type of person you want touching your hair. I Told her to cut my hair in layers but to not cut off too much because I like my hair long and she did exactly that. I suggest you make an appointment with her because everyone wants to do their hair with her. The other Dominican women that work there are good too, one of them did it for my friend & she was so happy with her experience. The hair salon is clean and they check that you are clean too, as soon as you enter they spray your hands and shoes with alcohol. . .The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the hair salon is great but the nail salon in the back is horrible. The ladies aren’t clean. The seats where you sit to get your nails hand and feet done are dirty, old & kind of broken on the sides. I just decided to get my nails done because I was going to do my hair anyway so I went for it. Bad choice. The nail salon is totally apart from the hair salon, I just want to make that clear they are in the same place but with different owners. The lady doing my nails was literally eating an apple while passing the nail polish remover on my nails and texting here and there. Then I wet my feet & she passed the callus remover ALL OVER THE TOP OF MY FEET & SCRAPED MY SKIN. Who does that? Not even a child. Right after that she passed this cream that comes with small sand like material all over my feet, which scraped them even more.. She had to pass the nail polish about 5 times to cover her mistakes because she kept touching it and messing it up. So now the nail polish looks all thick on my nails. On top of that it’s $25 dollars for a pedicure ONLY.. I warned my friend about this and she went anyway because she was going to get her hair done in the front part of the place & went through the same exact thing. Now her feet are all red with scratches & a couple of bruises. This is just sad. Please go to a professional nail salon where people actually love their job & know what they are doing & have an actual license, to avoid this horrible experience. Take care loves.

This is my go-to salon. I got a beautiful blue/purple dye job here and it was an amazing experience. But when I went in to go blonde, there was huge miscommunication issues and I ended up getting something completely different than what I wanted. I still respect the women there because they do an amazing job, but with trying new hair trends BE SPECIFIC WITH THEM & BRING A PHOTO OF WHAT YOU WANT

I didn’t even get to go here yet as I wanted to find out about pricing over the phone as their website shows nothing but photos of their portfolio and as soon as I call not even a “hi welcome to ...” I asked if this was just a highlights place and a man answered they did everything so I explain how I wanted a dye job and he said we can do extensions instead ... I didn’t even ask for that and denied it. I asked him if they had pricing for any hair lengths and he said I’d have to come in and I asked do they have set prices on anything cuz I noticed they do nails and he said no I’d have to come in and as I was about to ask about the coloring but he legit hung up on me. Unprofessional and rude. Also there was like yelling in the back so I feel it’s a chaotic environment which is a no for me as I liked to stay calm and relaxed when getting my hair done. They should really treat customers better if they want new service.

Gertrudis and the girls are AMAZING!! They do great color, highlights and cuts. My sister and niece always get their extensions done here. Amazing!!

The nail salon is the worst. I speak Spanish and they were nice to me although my nails were horrible and someone there didn’t know Spanish and little English, the ladies were cursing and making fun of her in Spanish. My nails came off the same day and it hurts so bad. They cough without covering mouth no masks at all.
