Went there again and it did not disappoint
Absolutely loved both our meals and the drinks were amazing
Iv had a few strawberry Daiquiris from different places theirs takes the cup..its a winner.
Lovely food and drinks are made fresh and cold! Only small issue we found was the flickering main lights all around the restaurant.
My young son was having a typical toddler moment right as we entered, and the girl seating us offered him biscuits and juice to help settle him. Lovely touch! Menu had plenty of choice, food was delicious, portions great and staff were phenomenal, friendly and efficient. Couldn't fault it!
I’m not one to write reviews but this was the worst dinning experience i’ve encountered.
The entire night from the service to food was absolute dismal!
We had booked a table for a birthday dinner, It took almost an hour for a server to give us menus which were hand written and photocopied in an illegible font, with no vegetarian options, sides or allergies displayed. We waited an hour for drinks which all arrived in different sized cups despite ordering the same drinks and all costing the same price.
We waited 2 hours for our food, when complaining to the manager about the wait his excuse was ‘’most parties like to sit and talk before the food,’’ something that was almost impossible to do considering the music was so loud we had to yell to hear each other!
Not once did the manager take responsibility and apologise to us, instead the waiters had to take responsibility and apologise. The manager only spoke to us after we had got up and left, begging us to comeback and that the food will be ready in 1minute. 5minutes later we were served cold food, that barely matched what we ordered. 2 of our party were missing their meal which took an additional 20minutes to be served all while another table was being served before us.
They then brought out the cake we had prepared, before our meals had even been cleared of the table, they didn’t even have the decency to offer to cut the cake for us. To top of the whole experience we were still expected to pay.
While the whole night was awful my main complaint is to the manager for his poor attitude and unwillingness to properly apologise or take responsibility for the night, I can just hope he doesn’t take his incompetence out on the cooks and wait staff.
Safe to say, I will never willingly come back.
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a resturant. It took 2 hours for the food to be served and it was raw, cold and overall poorly made. The music was also blasted on full volume for the majority of the night and they couldn't be bothered to clear the table before bringing out the birthday cake. The manager was the main problem with all of this and neglected my table and only cared when we tried to leave before receiving our food which we had to wait an aditional 20miniutes for our food while other tables were still being served before us. The waiters were the only good things about the place as they were very nice and was genuinely sorry for us and the wait. The manager didn't bother to apologise and forced the waiters to apologise instead and hasn't taking any responsibility for how poor we were treated.
It was my wife's 50th birthday and I had 10 friends and family. The service was appalling took over an hour for our order to come. We had walked out and they came outside to say food was ready my wife was really annoyed and embarrassed a real let down food was cold won't be back and will not be recommending that anybody should eat here.
Premises was very cold, some people couldn't take their coats, hats and scarves off to eat their meal. Young staff were attentive enough but you knew that management pushed them try and sell as much drinks before dinner which was obvious and highlighted in other reviews. In doing this, they neglect the fact that we're there to eat and as most were driving, we could only have soft drinks anyway. About 40 mins after being seated are order was taken and we all went for mains only. Food was fine, bed and bird stack I ordered, came with mash and pepper sauce, tobacco onions. In fairness, it took another 40 mins for.yhe food to arrive and at that stage anything would have tasted good, as we were all starving at this stage. You can see this place has had its issues previous and with better management and more customer orientated rather than trying to maximize profit by selling as much soft drinks before and during meals, this place could be tops again. It's not there yet though.
Food was superb, I ordered the T bone steak and it was cooked perfectly. Great portions, very tasty and the staff were brilliant. Definitely recommend.
