Had an AMAZING Sunday roast today. Food was delicious and plentiful. Excellent service and great atmosphere. My Husband actually said “Why have we not been here before?!?”
Menu has good mix of choices. We shall DEFINITELY be back. Would recommend 100%
We discovered this pub during a dog walk before Christmas and have been back at least once a week since then. The staff have all made us feel very welcome and Steve and Maria (the chefs) cook superb meals. Great taste and great value for money. And on top of that - dog friendly which makes us and our dog extremely happy!! Sunday roast is outstanding! Best kept secret in Ashford
Just had our Christmas dinner here with some lovely friends. The food was excellent, really well presented. Table set all festive, crackers included! We’re regulars and always made to feel welcome and this was no exception. Thanks H&H team and Merry Christmas! Sam and Charles
We had our Christmas meal here, was lovely food, warm welcome. The pub had a very festive ambience. It was a little quiet for a saturday night but this could also be an advantage for some. Dogs welcome and wine was lovely.
We had Sunday lunch there with friends and the roast dinners were really good. Plenty of fresh veg, which came separately, and a nice selection of meat. Reasonably priced for 2 or 3 courses, and the lady serving us was delightful. Would definitely recommend.
Out for a family Christmas meal. Couldn't fault the meal or the service . Good sized portions served on hot plates. Good price. Dining room was a bit small if you had a large party, unless there was another I didn't see. Small carpark but large layby very close. Recommend.
Hubby and I went here for our anniversary meal, lovely atmosphere, congenial host
Plus well cooked meal what more can you ask for. We were not disappointed. We haven't been to H& H for years, liked it then liked it now...Well done, keep up the good work. 2023. Hubby now has dementia, and wanted to go there again this year,because he knew what a good night we had last year and it is comfortable for him.
I had lasagne, hubby cottage pie plus veg both well cooked and presented well.
Another pleasant night
Home cooked food. Really lovely pub. Definitely somewhere you can bring your mum.
