This is a nice nail salon. The staff is always ready to help you even as a walk in client. Clean and professional check in. My first couple of visits were satisfactory. But this last one I decided to do dip powder for the first time. Not thrilled????. The lady totally filed my index finger crooked (like Anjelah Johnson crooked) and my thumb doesn't look smooth, it looks bumpy. The process was cool and the color is nice. I would definitely do dip powder again...just not sure if I would do it here again though. My gel pedicure was great the last couple times but this time, again the lady needs to work on her filing technique.
i love this place and always go to get my nails done. my pedicure was amazing but my acrylics were not good this time. the art on the nails were gorgeous but the shape was really weird and uneven. i love the people and the environment here. you just can’t ever trust how the acrylics will turn out.
This salon was recommended by a friend, so I was optimistic about a good experience. Not at all what I received. Maybe it was a bad day or a poor tech, but I will not be back. The visit was mediocre at best. To start with, there is not a list of services offered which also means no prices for services listed. I went for a mani/pedi. Every other salon gives options for the level of pedi you want. I was given ONE option and it was $55. I did not receive $55 in service by any means. No "grating" to remove dead skin, no callus removal, no hot towels, and the "massage" was LITERALLY APPLYING lotion to my legs. The polish application looked good at first, but upon later inspection, I have polish on all the skin surrounding the nails and the polish doesn't fully cover the nails or go over the tip of the nail. My manicure was even worse! Nothing was done except for nail clip, cuticle trim, and a hasty polish application. The nails were uneven in length which I pointed out before she started the polish and I pointed out which nail I liked as far as length and shape so the rest would be done that way. The nails got fixed, but only in length and not the shape and lastly, the application of the polish was horrible. It does not go to the edges of the nail, it is uneven in thickness resulting in some areas being darker than others, some nails have the polish reaching the cuticle (which leads to early peeling), and it doesn't wrap around the tips. Because of the lighting in the salon, none of these were noticeable at the time and I don't live close enough to return easily for a redo and by the time I'm in the area again, it will probably be too late for them to agree to fix. I feel rude putting a tech's work under the microscope, especially in their presence, but I guess I will need to do so in the future: not a situation I like being put in.
Very nice service - giving them 5 stars, but was not the best mani and pedi I ever had. My best ever mani (elsewhere) took about an hour, was very detailed and careful and I did not have even one tiny scratch on my hands from rushed use of the file scraping my skin together with the nails which is what happened here (and to be honest - often happens elsewhere too)
The pedicure was good too, but was rushed my heels are still rough and were Not cleaned well from dead skin.
Always happy when I leave Happy Nails! They always take extra care on ingrown nails and don’t leave any cuticle mess! My preferred nail salon in Oregon City.
I nevvvver leave bad reviews but I feel the need to help Oregon city ladies save their money.
Only gave one start because my friend took me for a treat pedicure! It was like a scene from a cliche movie.
Speaking in another language about both of us(was very evident)... maybe she thought we looked to Poot to top her? Idk. But the second we walked in it was wham bam bye!
Basic pedicure was as follows:
-Soaking in a bare unprotected basin with grime on the drain ring????(didn’t notice until after it was drained or else I would have left)
-dug into my two sides leaving three toes throbbing and one bleeding. “Oh no big deal” she says as she pats it dry..????????
-gets the cheese grater out but doesn’t apply pressure so there has been nothing removed.
-Lotion on my legs
-no lotion for the bottom of my feet I guess...
-no massage AT ALL( not even a singular squeeze )
-and then color polish with a top coat that looked like the picture posted above. ????????????♀️
I wish I would have gotten a pic of my heel at the salon afterwards.:/ not good.
Okay, I know I have small toenails.. I told her when I sat down, “I don’t care as much about the paint job as I do the massage and exfoliating part. I know I have itty bitty toenails. Hehe”
Well, she may have taken this as a challenge. Idk..
but when your pedicure lasts for 25 minutes... and the only massage you feel is on your back from the chair... it’s time to find a new place.
I’m taking my friend to another place closer to portland in a couple of weeks so we can finally have some skin scrubbed from the heels or atleast have our heels touched...!
I so never thought I would be “this lady” posting a bad review but really?! It’s like they were asking for it.
Please don’t overlook people who walk into your store because they don’t have makeup on and are rocking a messy bun with maybe some Unshaved legs(For the pedicure).
Not going here again. Save your money, have your kids rub your feet.

Walk in... look up and then look inside the foot basins and then tell me it’s clean???? I dare you. ????????
The last view times our gel polish peeled off within days. Nails are smaller than my nail bed and sometimes oddly shaped. Cuticles weren’t pushed back and not much for nail art.
Eyelash extension was quick possibly a little 2 quick as they had all fallen off by 6th day. Way to long I looked like I was playing in mommies falsies. They did get me in when I called and wanting service at that time.
Feeling violated, discriminated against and cannot believe SHE STOLE FROM ME by tipping herself!!! The main lady is corrupt and rude!! She didn't ask me to wash my hands before she painted them, and didn't put lotion on after she was done. She hurried me out as she was showing so much attention to her regular customer. She didn't remember me because I'm new in the area, the first time she charged me $22 and this time she charged me $27, and I didn't realize she did this until I left and looked at how much she charged me last time, I tipped $10 for a basic pedi and a fill, but she actually made off with $15 tip!!! This is the worse service I have ever had, I hope everyone reads this!!! I think they purposely don’t post prices for this exact purpose so they can charge and change prices on people according to their judgements!! So DISTURBING!!! ????????????????????????
