Popped a few weeks ago for a takeout coffee and was impressed with what I saw so went back.

Really friendly welcoming staff, varied menu with great choice and proper good dark strong coffee.

The Hamlet Breakfast was £8.50 including coffee, which in my opinion is good value! Food cooked in open kitchen and came out in less than 10 minutes.

I will definitely be back!

Great food with the perfect price point.

The staff was really kind and it was not too crowded.

The only thing was that the mega breakfast was a bit too greasy for our taste.

I think it's the sign of the times. Is it a cafe is it a restaurant ???? . The food was OK and the service was polite and friendly. Its just the identity of the place . The decor is of a restaurant but serving workers food. I have noticed this more recently. It un nerves me it feels un natural walking into restaurant wearing work clothes. There is a heated balcony for those who like to smoke and wheelchair/pushchair access. It has regulars whom, I noticed where on first name teems with the staff. I had a breakfast omelet with chips,salad and tea costing just over £10

Went for a meal there & as there were 11 of us family we mostly chose different foods off the menu but every single one of our meals were delicious, such a great friendly place to eat with brilliant service , thank you x

What's not to like!

Nice clean place. Food is good and presented nicely.the staff are friendly and welcoming. I've been here a few times and brought others who have said the same. Definitely recommended. They have a heated outside area too.
