The guy Reggie in the very first chair has a horrible ego. I offended him because I simply asked while he was taking the back of my hair down, to please be sure not to cut off the area I’m growing (because it almost felt as though he may have be cutting it down from too high) it’s partly my fault for not having a reference photo & I did apologize for that but that isn’t cause for means to ask me “so what we doing because after this, I won’t be cutting your hair again”… telling me that he “doesn’t play” That hurt me because I used to work just two doors to the side at Idealab. Parents would have leftover food from kids parties & I would walk over & dropoff pizza & fruits whatever I may have had extra that I didn’t want to see go to waste. That’s no way to speak to your customer let alone someone who genuinely had warm energy for folks in the community. Dismissive as he was, it was completely rude to tel me to “get on out of here” as if I did something to him after he told me he “doesn’t get sensitive because he’s a business man” - sad to see this is how Business is ran Post- Pandemic. Our people are going through it & need help. I forgive you Reggie. I hope you feel better because you were totally out of character & I hope you get well soon.

The rest of those gentlemen are very polite & the music is always nice. Peaceful setting. Feel good location. I do recommend even after my unfortunate experience which just so happens to be the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Final though: please be kind to each other. It goes a long way

My 9yr old son comes here for his haircuts. He is autistic and used to HATE going to get haircuts, I mean complete crying fits! That was until he started coming here a year ago. His barber, Mr. Taylor, is courteous, professional and He takes time to treat my son with the same dignity as an adult customer. He confirms what my son wants, with him, and truly makes him feel like he is a part of the decision making process, not something just random is about to happen to him. In return for Mr. Taylor's open & professional dialog, my kiddo feels safe, at ease and happy to come in!

This is truly a family friendly atmosphere, down to the music selections that are played! All of the barbers are respectful and professional from the moment we enter until the second we leave. Not to mention the all the line-ups I've seen are BANGING! We are blessed to have found them!

John is an excellent Barber. Treats his clients with respect and upholds the best barber standards that I know. There is great camaraderie between the barbers there. I highly recommend this barbershop.

I started taking my twin boys to John in 2015 and just left today. All the barbers there are super cool and professional. Clayton, Reggie, Detroit, and Clint Breezy are awesome. Super chill vibes, very diverse, not too loud. They are the only barbers that get my boys lining perfect. You can also check them out on Facebook.

????Kinda heavy-set guy cut my hair and trimmed my beard and it look like he did it in the dark - and he sprayed some black hair spray to cover up his not so polished cutting skills he got one side looking higher then the other - *go to this place at your own risk. He changed me $25.oo

Got my hair trimmed by Reggie and he did a phenomenal job. Did exactly what I wanted and didn't cut too much hair off since I still want to grow it out. I will be stopping by again when I need my hair cut/trimmed again

The MEN at Grooming Room International are everything you want in a barber. I've been bringing my son here for 5 yrs and I've never had a bad experience. His barber Reggie is a true professional that takes pride in his craft and is also an important member of our "village". The shop is relaxing and calm and is always clean which is important to me. There is never a time where I felt uncomfortable going there. They're professionals without a doubt.

Hands down the best barbershop! Atmosphere is relaxed and Respectful. Experienced, professional and consistent barbers. You never have to worry about if they will be there when you go back. Truly love this place. I drive 45min just to get my son hair cut by John.
