They have gone downhill since new management , The food quality is bad.. Me and my 12 year old son were sick for a week after ordering the medium cod and large chips to share ...The old management used PROPER QUALITY products while this NEW manager trys to do everything on the cheap :/ Please Avoid if your attempting to order this it isnt worth it for your health..

I just called them to confirm what is Halal and the person I spoke to said that the fish, chips and pork sausages are fried in the same oil.
The chicken today is not Halal as he couldn't get it from the Halal butchers. So he purchased non-halal chicken so they can make a profit. What is Halal changes day-to-day.

The best fish and chip shop in the whole of Borehamwood, it gets my vote every time. Freshly cooked and always polite professional service from all their staff. The owners have been a beacon of hope and light throughout the Pandemic and now need our support through difficult times ahead. Please find it in your heart, to find a way to sponsor this business before it is lost forever and all we are left with is just a memory of what once was. Thank you. ????????
Fab local fish, chip and all sorts of other options take away. Clean. Staff are uber friendly and welcoming.
Can't get through on the phone and paid over £5 for a dish that wasn't delivered.That dish was for two kids, so they had mine instead. The food is edible, but nothing special. Certainly not good enough to pay over £5 extra for. And delivery time on "just eat" says 25 min, when it's more like 45 min.
Update. Still trying to call, and tasted the salad. Tastes like something I would have thrown away 2 days ago.
All i can say is wow. It was my first visit to this place and it was so encouraging to see such a helpful bunch of staff. I was so happy with the food i ordered , so fresh and clean and so tasty.
I don’t live in the area and sincerely hope these guys open a chip shop near me some day as it is the very best one i have ever been to.
