After a change of ownership, it was re assuring to find the majority of staff remained. The new manager from America is just awesome. Knows the game, likeable and sociable. Staff are highly skilled, super friendly. Service is transparent with pricing.Hair dressers are all experts, knowing how to make you feel at ease. They are humble and kind and treat you, your children with the utmost respect. Give fantastic hair advice and are simply true professionals. Offer you warm drink, lovely talk and treat you like celebs. This salon caters for all diff types of hair and people. I’ve always felt welcomed hair. Would highly highly recommend.
I was recommended Go bananas by a friend. I booked in for highlights and cut and blow dry. When I arrived I was greeted by Eillie who was very welcoming and friendly. My hair treatment was carried out by Chloe who listened to what I wanted and explained the whole process. My colour came out exactly how I wanted and was so pleased with it. Excellent customer service, staff are lovely and professional. See you you all soon :)
I had a bad experience at my last salon and decided to try this one out after hearing about it from a friend. I had my hair done by Jade and she was so professional, knew what she was talking about with hair textures and colors. The Management was so sweet, I had some questions about different products and she took time out to explain them to me and give me recommendations for my hair type and colour. I will be a regular customer now! Xx

Lovely staff, we're great with my 4 year old daughters hair cut, friendly with her and made her feel comfortable. When she left she said to the stylist I'll be back for another haircut ????

So I went to Go Banana’s for the first time since new management as I’ve heard amazing reviews from some of my friends. I’ve not had my hair dyed in yearsssss and was super scared about damage etc. I booked in with the owner Hena and she recommended Jade for the type of look I wanted to go for. Hena really made me comfortable and took the time to explain the process and difference in treatments that avoid damaging the hair when colouring which really helped me make an informed decision. She recommended a few maintenance products and even went through a complimentary hair care regime.
So Jade did my actual hair and I cannot recommend her enough. The whole team made it such a fun experience. Jade took her time to go through colour options and what I liked and also what I didn’t like which I felt made me more comfortable so I knew the colour would come out exactly as expected.
The final result was AMAZING. I felt so much more confident and my hair was healthy more than anything which was so important to me… Hena and Jade recommended an olaplex treatment with it that I think really helped. I opted for the olaplex toner shampoo they recommended and it’s kept my hair feeling amazing and the colour is so fresh even 4 weeks later I can’t explain it.
I walked in feeling like a -2 and left feeling like an 11 out of 10. They made me feel amazing and I cannot recommend them enough. Since mine 3/4 of my friends have been and all had the same experience
Ps their PRICES! Let me tell you. I know you think mmm it’s cheaper.. will it be a botch job? Do you have to pay 5 million for a good balayage? Hena and Jade proved you can still pay half the price of everywhere else and still get a perfectly blended balayage.

Booked a consultation for my hair, which was also confirmed via a text message. I went there during my work time lunch, firstly I walked in and there was no one at the counter and none of the staff acknowledged me. Was waited there for ages till I got someone’s attention, only to be told that the person who was going to do my consultation is busy and to come back later. Like I have all the time in the world to come down to suit them. I booked for the next day then got a text message later that evening saying my stylist won’t be in and to call them to reschedule my consultation. Not even a call but a text! Customer service is appalling and for that reason I didn’t book to have my hair done there when they can’t even respect their customers.
Have used here for years my daughter and I have always had our hair done. The staff here are lovely and very professional
However the new owner who took over January
Is not the same. She has took a booking for my hair which I asked for 4:30. All confirmed and booked As it on a late night
Had a message asking me to go in Earlier which I said I couldn’t as I have to collect my children. I asked if I 3:45 was any better. No reply. Then the next day was told it had to be 3:00. As the stylist wouldn’t have enough time to do my hair. Told her again I could get there at 3:45 and asked are they open till 8pm. No reply. Then message saying they can’t do my hair as there is not enough time. My hair is normally 3 hours.
So sorry guys won’t be coming back. As I have a family wedding tomorrow and now have to find someone who is reliable
