Just moved to the area and stopped in here for a cut before vacation and got one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. This will definitely be my new regular barber!
Very friendly, nice place. Joe always does great job for my boys’ haircuts.
I have been taking my boys here consistently for the past year or so and have always been super happy. I appreciate the easy online scheduling and everyone in the shop is friendly... Great with adults and children!
Not sure where Frankie was, or if he even owns the place anymore. Used to be a welcoming spot, door open, greeted when entering, professional. Not today. Front door shut, no response to me coming in, when they found out I was a walk in they all put their faces back in their phones. The girl that cut my hair, very nice, but has no idea what she's doing, my hair is chopped tf up, and it's a buzz cut with a mid fade(nothing faded about it). Not sure if they charged me for a beard trim also, but she sure af didn't do one, so $31 is crazy for what it is. Where the hell is Frankie? Bc who he's got there doesn't do good business when he's gone.
The young girl that cut my sons hair did a great job, she was friendly and wasn't bothered by my 2 little girls standing with me. Wish I could remember her name my son said it was his favorite cut yet, ask for the girl with cute giraffe tattoo.
Husband was a walk in and left with a bowl cut. He said his hair dresser argued and didn't listen to him at all. He asked for more off the top several times and she argued. Complained he was a walk in. Sides were not blended but choppy. Another experience the hair dresser had no idea what skin tags were and made them bleed by shaving them. Do not reccomend.
Pete is a phenomenal straight razor barber and is my go to in Albany. He goes the extra mile, always fits me in (even last minute) has a great attitude and my cut looks perfect. Ive been going to Pete at Frankie’s shop since they opened. Highly recommend Pete for your haircuts.
I've been going to Frankie's for quite a while now. The staff ate always welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied with your cut. Peter has been my regular barber and does an outstanding job each time especially since I've got hair that isn't easy to work with. After trying several different barbers in the area, I'm glad to have found Frankie's.
