Very disappointed in our take away tonight. Mould on the cucumbers and 2 tiny lamb chops with no care or attention especially for the £7.50 price. Puri was also soggy dumped on top of the sauce. Naan was undercooked around the edges
Just had the most fabulous Afternoon Tea at your restaurant with my friend. We chose the package which included Prosecco ???? to celebrate our birthdays. Just take a look at our photos. Everything was absolutely delicious. Thankyou to Jody who looked after us. We will definitely be back again soon. Highly recommended xx
Unfortunately I found the wait time for a take away to be far too long. No one wants to wait nearly an hour for food even when it is busy, The manager and bar staff were very rude when I questioned the waiting time. I will not return to this restaurant or recommend. There are much nicer Indian restaurants in the area with better food, better value and more professional staff.
Food was nice but surroundings were disappointing. Even though there wasn't many in you would have still expected it to be kept at a comfortable temperature. It was freezing in there and we had to eat the whole meal with our coats on plus our food went cold before we could finish it, it also needs a bit of tlc regarding decor and toilets etc. However that aside the food was lovely which is the main thing and not too expensive considering the location.
Visited Five Spice for the first time tonight. What a fabulous place, the food was outstanding, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant was very busy but not rushed; the staff were attentive, professional and very friendly. All in all, a very pleasant evening. We will visit again.
First time visiting after seeing great reviews online, the restaurant is lovely, decorated nicely and very clean, service was great, popadoms were fresh and the sauces and onions were delicious. Unfortunately, the curries and cocktails we ordered were just not that flavoursome, both curries were very bland, the chicken was good quality and the rice was nice, naan bread was not very fluffy. We didn’t complain as felt this was maybe just be down to our personal taste as there were many other diners there that seemed very happy.
