I really want to love this place but everything I go, my gel manicure chips after only 3 days. They give great service though just wished the manicures lasted longer.

I've been coming here for about a year now. They're professional and very accomodating too, I don't ever feel rushed even when they're super busy.

I've been happy most times but disappointed in 2 instances. I find the service a bit inconsistent, some technicians are extra good and others are somehow careless. Last week my gel manicure wasn't the best: nails poorly prepared and polish applied on the skin around my nails and now lifting the polish on the actual nail + polish shipping faster than with a regular manicure. Rookie mistake if you ask me... It hasn't been a week yet and I am not washing dishes, cooking or anything. I left on vacation already and was hoping to keep it for a good 3 weeks like I usually do. If I was still around I would have gone back.

I'll keep going for sure but will make sure I receive service from technicians I've been happy with in the past.

Update: Found a nail salon. Covid safe & charged me $20 less then this place for the same services.

Terrible experience. Totally overpriced for services. Get price upfront! I was scammed. I got a manicure & pedicure. They painted my toes. I did not get my nails painted. The total for this service was $62. I questioned the price when my nails weren't painted & David stated "nail polish is free", do you want your nails painted?" I have never went to a nail shop where the paint was free. I then was charged $1 to use my debit card & was then was pressured to tip for a service which I was ripped off. Also, My big toes were cut differently.

This place is also not taking Covid-19 seriously. The chairs are very tight together. There are no dividers between clients & the are reusing the foot scrub even though other places are using smaller disposable ones. The owner came in without a mask and stayed for an extended time in a place that was over capacity.

I went here for waxing. I would recommend going somewhere else. The lady was ripping and that technique is typically very damaging to the skin. In other words, she did not do a good job.

Ive been a long time customer here and I know that this place is number one in Oakland. I went to other nail salons in the area to see how they were, and I've never seen another nail salon that uses fans. But this nail salon uses fans instead of air conditioners which isnt very pleasant for my eyes and my skin, my skin is very sensitive to the air in there and the fan makes it worst. I wished the owner would make a change and upgrade to use air conditioners, most of my loyal friends that go here also have the same experiences recently, mostly when its summer and its extremely hot, fans are not it. I dont think i will be going here for a while unless they make the change to start using air conditioning.

Somewhat decent experience, I had recently came here to get a Pedicure and a Manicure with my daughter. Everything was going good but I recommend them using an air conditioner instead of those fans. Dusk and little particles got into my daughters and my eyes making it very uncomfortable and making it a little hard for me to breathe. But overall the manicure and pedicure was good, I just would've wished they used air conditioner rather then fans because I go here twice every month.

Love my new nail shop! They are professional and listen to the customer's wants.
