Avoid at all cost! Take heed of the warnings. Worst customer service- not that I was expecting much, but my hair was inconsistent and overpriced. The experience was awful as my stylist did whatever she wanted to do. The braids are a hit or miss. The audacious arrogance is not worth the spiritual disturbance. Don’t let these women play with your crown.
Update: Precious pulled out a good bit of my hair and she refused to braid the braids down so they unraveled. When I asked to speak to a manager, all in that hole laugh and say he’s not here- taking turns as if they do not speak English. As an African American woman, this was a wicked, spiritual experience that left me with hair missing and she was unconcerned with the look of the braids, and as a black female who had shoulder length, natural hair, again, do NOT, let word of mouth convince you to trust any of these women with your hair if you care anything about the health of your hair.
I’ve been blessed in coming to Fatous braiding salon for 19 years. Bossi has been my stylist since 2004! . I always leave satisfied and pleased! You get exactly what you ask for and the prices are very reasonable. The beautiful personalities at the salon make the time go by and you enjoy the fellowship. Everyone is very professional. I refer all of my family and friends to this shop.
I tried since closer to home but don't have blond hair. Also I found more expensive than Candler Rd. I don't understand braids can be same price weather full head or sides shaved.
They hit every time , I don’t know what others experienced , but I walk out satisfied EVERY TIME ! Reasonably priced and will work with your budget PERIOD.
I wanted individuals and my hair was very short in the back so they said that we will try. I didn’t want to waste my money so I wanted to clarify what that meant. I requested throughout the process that I wanted them to braid my hair to the end and to add highlights. The person that started my hair forgot to add highlights on her side of my head until the end because she talked on her phone the entire time that she braided my hair. The short older lady that answers the phone came to help her after awhile in the process and she eventually took over braiding my hair. She did whatever she wanted to do. She did not braid my hair to the end. In fact she intentionally braided my hair halfway and left as much remaining as possible. It was uneven after she trimmed it and she left bulks of the trimmed hair on my clothing that I was not able to see until I got home. I had to go back the next day for them to make adjustments and they still did not do what I requested. They did not like that I asked questions or made requests. Not only did they talk about me but other customers as well as the called or came in. They are mean spirited and are not professional. The owner gives them to much trust to run the place on their own so they do what they want to do. It was a horrible experience. The Africans hate black Americans theory is very much in affect here. I warn you, find somewhere else to go for service.
FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR HAIR BRAIDED PLEASE, I went to this shop on last Monday 6/9/2020 to get small individuals and they completely jacked the back up and the front is smaller than the back and very messy. This is one week later. The braids in the back is also falling out because they were done poorly. If you want good service this is NOT the place, they really don't care. They only want your money.
First time having my hair braided here. Great job, will return!
I was told to come to the shop at 7:30am and after sitting and waiting for an hour no one showed up. Never again!
