I live just around the corner and have passed this cafe a few times.

This morning I decided to take myself and four of the family, (plus my dog) out for a breakfast.

We were heading for town centre but this place always looks nipping clean and this morning was full of smiling builders with full stomachs.

I decided to give it a go.

Great menu, virtually an open kitchen so I could see my breakfast being prepared- which is gold to a lifelong chef such as myself.

The mug of tea was large and the kind professional waitress left the teabag in….awesome.

My family had orange juice which came out in a pint glass (no half measures here).

The breakfast was plenty, boiling hot, tasty, well presented and filling.

Lastly - the price. It was roughly £26 for all five of us and the dog was made welcome.

The waitress thought my dog was cute but mentioned she wasn’t permitted to fuss him- another hygiene win.

They really can’t do any wrong in my eyes and I’ll be going again, often.

We’ll done as the name really does portray the truth of the place. It really is an “excellent cafe”.

1st time I have tried here. Food lovely and freshly made. Staff very polite and helpful. Prices very respectful for the current problems the country is having. Very clean and spacious. Would highly recommend and will return again in the near future.

This place is really good! Whenever I'm staying in Bridlington I always make time to come here. Great value for money and lovely staff. Highly recommended and an example to all other cafe's.

Good value for money, pleasant staff and clean surroundings, however my husband's chicken was very nice, my pork was tough and dry otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Lovely Staff, even the ginger one. ???? Food lovely and hot. Great lunch stop when you've been out in -4 conditions.

It is as it days. Excellent breakfast, quick easy and no fuss. It's just how we like it.

Been to this Cafe numerous times especially when family visit from Leeds they too love it...food is always excellent..staff lovely...can't fault it at all

What a lovely cafe. Lovely happy friendly staff. Took my grandson today. We had a cheese and ham toasty with chips/salad. It was amazing. All Fresh salad, ham and cheese was really nice. And salad and chips were as well. Will be going in again. 5 stars.
