I’ve been to Annette several times since finding her salon in 2021. She is professional and very experienced. The shop runs smoothly and service is efficient. Annette is also very lovely and caring; she remembered things about me from each visit and always asked about my family. I usually get a wash & blowout or a silk wrap with a precision cut. I’ve referred friends and family for braids and for twists on my teenage male cousin, and they’ve had excellent service as well. I highly recommend!
Annette and staff did an absolutely amazing job on my grand daughters hair. She is mixed and we have had alot of bad haircuts in the past. Annette was considerate and actually listened to what we wanted as well as gave my grand daughter tips on how to take care of her hair.Definitely recommend
I will be making, Essential Design Hair Salon in Knightdale NC, my new salon! Annette is an amazing hair stylist with an awesome personality. She was able to pencil me in to her busy schedule last minute. The shop is super clean and the staff was very nice and professional! I like that she wasn’t too rough while washing and blow drying my hair because I am tender headed. I love the design of the braids Dominque did! I am a Travel CST, and I travel all over the country for my job. I’ve been to multiple salons and this is one of the best salons I have ever been too! I felt a warm welcome coming here. I highly recommend!!
My first visit to Essential Design Hair Salon was a wonderful one. I very recently relocated to the area and had no clue about a hair stylist. I was drawn here because of the client reviews and the closeness to my home. When I walked in I was made to feel very comfortable and welcomed. The salon is neat, clean and well organized. Annette and her staff are skilled and personable and get the job done quickly and well. There were clients receiving a range of different hair services. I made my next appointment and left very satisfied. My hair is soft, shiny, and full of body. I highly recommend Essential Design Hair Salon!
My daughter has her senior prom tonight and unfortunately, her hair stylist cancelled on us very last minute. I called several different salons before speaking to Annette at Essential Beauty. She took the time to tell me to breathe and ensure me she would take care of my daughter. She asked me to bring her by and we did, and she sat her down immediately and did a gorgeous style on my girls hair. They not only made us feel comfortable and like we were in good hands, but Annette also did amazing on her hair! I 100% recommend this salon and will be booking all future appointments for all three of my girls with Annette!

Annette is an excellent stylist. She’s very professional and truly has a heart for people and their hair care. Her and her partner Sabrina worked together to do my hair. Sabrina did the cornrows then Annette completed my twist. I love the atmosphere of the shop I felt very relaxed there.
I found the salon this morning and called to schedule a blow out for my daughter. Annette added her to the end of her day (same day appointment). When we walked in, Annette was funny, warm, and welcoming. She’s so down to earth. She took her time, went above and beyond, and did an amazing job. Grateful to have found her and will definitely be returning for years to come.
Absolutely a god send. Put a post on FB & she was recommended. Worked me little girl right on in. Walked in her shop & we realized we went to school together! She was worked her magic on my daughters hair. (Bi-racial & hair not cut right in the past) It looks so healthy. She is our girl now. Her mom was a big help too. Washed & combed her hair & was gentle with it! So glad we found Annette!!
