Avoid, Avoid, Avoid Jasmine!!!!.
I have been having my hair coloured by Jasmine for nearly 10 years and trusted her 100%. I had a full head of blond highlights to blend with grey hair and what a disastrous result. The outcome is looking like a scarecrow, my hair is dry, brittle and several different colours. As a senior stylist she should have know that much colour wouldn't worked on dyed hair, saying it would take 3 visits to the salon to get right is unacceptable as she should have got it right one time for £340!!!, I did complain and got a refund.
I wouldn't recommend this stylist or trust her!!!!
16 December 2021- Avoid Avoid Avoid (Part two ) Jasmine, I wrote the above review about the bad hair experience I received in August 2021 that has ruined my beautiful long hair. I also paid separately £100 to have my hair cut and £100 to have finger curled by Anna see photo 3.
Since writing my review above, I have received an intimidating text on my private phone number from Jasmin saying it is all lies and to remove my review.
Errol and Kim have access to before and after photos on what was my original hair colour. I have attached photos of what my hair looked like before, see 4 and 5 photos and how 2021 has been a nighmare looking like this has caused me stress and anxiety.
I will not be removing my reviews!!
Lovely boutique style hairdresser in a quiet pedestrian street. Had a wonderful colour experience with Luke who really understood my hair & how colour looks on different skin tones. Would recommend & go again as a model!. Thank you ????
Yolanda!!! Thank you for keeping me young and healthy looking. You have taken my hair from dry and bleached to looking natural with highlights and healthy. My brown, grey with white shock of hair is now a well behaved light brown with beautiful subtle highlights. A year on and all that old tortured hair is gone. Thanks for being nice, always on time and a great listener for the look I want for the season.
I had my hair stripped of a horrible black box dye and in the same day beautiful caramels and light browns/blondes added. I had the colouring done by Jasmine and also a Luke & Dylan who were great helping to deep condition after etc , Luke curled/styled it afterwards. One thing i loved about the salon was how friendly a lot of the hairdressers are - especially the assistants so warm and welcoming i felt at home and relaxed and in good hands. I'd actually come to see Jasmin 2 weeks before after seeing her instagram and i was able to get a free consultation and the team tried to see if they could naturally remove the box dye - they gave me a-lot of time for this and i didn't feel like a number which was really pleasant. Like most curly haired women i really dislike hair salons and trust issues with my hair but i'd definitely return to them. Thank you Jasmine, Dylan and Luke. PS: the avocado toast is also delicious
I am a first time customer. I discovered this salon through This Morning's makeovers and was intrigued about Errol Douglas. I recently had my hair cut short after having it long (waist length) at my usual salon (diff company) for so many years but I wasn't 100% happy with the result so took the chance to contact this salon and speak with somebody about it. Yolanda on the telephone was very understanding and booked me in with Anna whom she recommended for a corrective cut. Anna greeted me and already was familiar with my concerns which I was pleased about because immediately it demonstrated that she cared.
She explained carefully the reason why I may not have been very happy with my previous cut as I do have wavy hair, it all made so much sense. I was offered a refreshment and made to feel at ease, I felt like I was in good hands. I didn't feel like it was a 'stuck up/pretentious' place which in my mind I was uncomfortable about, excuse the wording. At the end of it all, I was VERY happy with the end result. Thank you so much for taking care of me. I will certainly be back :)
I’m super fussy with my hair and I have found someone who I trust and receive good results from everytime. If you have Middle Eastern type hair with red undertones and everytime you try to go blonde it’s ginger/strawberry blonde - Rami is gonna be your new bestfriend! He’s been dying my thick black hair to blonde for 3 years and I am so happy to have found someone so professional and efficient who deliverssss everytime. Also, the salon is beautiful and clean, all other hairdressers who work there are lovely and the atmosphere is comfortable. My faves no complaints x
I couldn’t recommend Errol Douglas salon more to everyone I know. I have been visiting the salon for around 2 years and won’t go anywhere else. Yolanda has mastered my blonde colour with highlights after it was ruined previously by other hairdressers and Errol always finishes my hair with the best cut, style and blowout. The salon are always so accommodating and manage to fit me in even with last minute appointments which is always appreciated and such a lovely experience everytime I go! Hands down the best salon in London!
Today was my second visit to the salon. I have curly hair, I’ve been to a few places around London and was not entirely satisfied. Now that I have found Wayne (Eroll Douglas Hair stylist) I am very pleased. The salon has great customer service, home-care advice from the apprentice and hair stylist. Rebooked.
